Great video buddy, always good to catch up with someone who tells it how it is,what can be done with the effort.Having bit of a reset on my own eBay setup.look at what fluff needs removing 😅 and what needs pushing on with.

Always good to take a step back and see if things can be reset, refreshed or done better - its sometimes hard to change after doing it one way for so long - however after fluff and friction is gone, it can be a BIG game changer. Youve got this!!
Thanks Chris, this one has given me a few things to think about! Im thinking about putting myself under a buying embargo for a period of time till I’ve got a few improvements in place. Problem with that of course is the fear that you might miss out on some of those home runs!
I understand how HARD that is... and the thought of missing out; but change the mindset to "think about all the money you are missing out on" by not listing what you have. So many times I have put off listing something, to then list it and it sells within 24 hours for 40, 60 , 100 or more and im like... why didnt I do this earlier lol! youve got this. even if you have so much stock its overwhelming and maybe it doesnt owe you much, just list it to sell, not to get top dollar, let it give you some cash back to give you the permission to go for a new stock shop :) :) also remember, there is always MORE stock!
@@CLFurlong Good advice Chris. Don’t put items off that are easy wins; easy to post, less likely to attract returns, high sell through rate/ value, etc. Put off higher risk items which are likely to sit for longer or go to pickier buyers, which may attract the opposite of ‘easy’.
Is it doubling your money if you pay $10 and make a $20 profit, or is it tripling your money? (you get $10 back, then you have another TWO $10s, 3 x $10 is $30, hence tripling)
well in the context of profit: Because we end up with $30 on a $10 investment, YES we tripled the original amount. However, we need to note that your profit of $20 is exactly double your $10 principal (a 200% gain). So: Profit = 2 × $10 = $20 (double your principal) Total Return = $30 = 3 × $10 (triple your principal) In short, your profit is double your investment, but your total return is triple your investment. (why i went with double, your not wrong either though around the triple part)
@CLFurlong ah yes just a wording thing I guess - tripling your money at the very least! I say I can ten times money on most books...but that means you need to sell more books!
haha there is good debt and bad debt... if you have too many mortgages, why dont you make changes? I know its easier SAID, than DONE, but at the same time we do tend to overcomplicate things when we can make changes which would change our circumstances too... i also understand the pressures of external factors (banks, Interest rates and all that) so it can be a big pain...
@@CLFurlong Said tongue-in-cheek, I did sell a property recently and cleared a lot of debt. It still doesn’t feel 100% real being very recent. I’m in the process of upscaling the ebay store atm, with a couple of bigger sales, so you never know what will happen.
