DXR blew DBR out the water!
I don't mention quality in this video, but the DXR quality (Both 12 & 15) is amazing. Mine have been hired out to multiple small festivals, parties, weddings & corporate events and every time the client comments on how good everything sounds.

The DBR line would be considered entry level. The DXR line would be the line for a working DJ or band with weekly gigs to use. I would say that the DXR12 is as good as the QSC K12 ...
Yamaha DXR15 vs MackieDRM215 who is the loudest and have the most clear sound ?
Im a Techno Dj looking to buy 2 speakers and 2 subs. Just not know of i will go for Yamaha or Mackie.
Definitely Yamaha over Mackie! So much better. Mackie haven't been good for a long time now. Yamaha DXR15s with Yamaha DXS15 subs are a setup we hire out very regularly.
@@bristolparties Thanks for the answer. I planing to host som outdoor events in the park. We can not play to loud, now thinking about the bass. So the plan is to only use two speakers without a sub. You still recomend Yamaha DXR15 Mk2 over Mackie DRM series ? 😊
@@theaverageguy3884 Yes I still would as the DXR15 has decent bass response without having to turn the volume up high. They also don't loose sound quality at higher volumes but my experience with Mackie is that at 80%+ output the sound quality drops.

Does your DBR12 exhibit white noise when powered on and not receiving signal?
The DBRs were cross hired, but didn't notice the white noise when I had them.
I've has white noise from my DXRs when the speaker volume is up high and the source volume is low (i.e. the BOOTH output on a DJ mixer). Turning the volume down on the speaker and up on the mixer solves this. Also try a different audio cable.

Qual seria melhor comprar duas caixas dbr Yamaha 15 , ou uma dzr 15 Yamaha.
I've not heard the DZR range but I'm tempted to buy a set of DZR12 as I'm not 100% happy with the higher frequencies and vocals quality with the DXRs. The DBR range are not good enough for professional use IMO.
I'd go with a pair of DXR15 or a single DZR15 if you won't have any benefit from using a mono Left & mono Right stack set up.

They are both set to a low level. The DBR was audible, but drowned out by the DXR.
