It's kind of a "one behind" principle. Nice!. I wonder if it would be a fun convincer in the first phase to pretend to write the number and then say "Ok, I've drawn a circle around it to lock it in" and flip it to show the circle with the "prediction" covered up by your finger. That mental snapshot will reinforce later the idea that you predicted the number separately from the card.
Thought. After you Pretend to write the first prediction Really draw a circle "around it" (just draw a circle on the blank piece of paper), and mention that you did or make it obvious. Hopefully you understand where im going with this ✌👌👌
Really cool effect mr. Booth I like that I will definitely use this in my routine thanks for sharing love all your card magic catch you on the next video your friend Billy Simmons
Ha ha awesome technique!!!! 😉😎BUT unfortunately I don't have a marked deck😑 so I will use a stacked deck and a false shuffle for this trick! The idea for the trick is so simple yet nobody will catch it... 😂😂😂 Can I get a heart from you please??? 😍😊
i think instead of using a marked deck, you can used a memorised stack. at the beginning you only pretend to write a prediction but when you write the second one you actually write both the card and the number since you know the card because of the stack
Really this is very deceptive prediction trick. Thank you so much for this great trick. Brother lots of congratulations .Request to upload new amazing mentalism tutorial videos so that we can learn more. God bless you and save from all dangers.
This is amazing Cavan! I will have to try to try this sometime! I wonder if the Dystopian Deck is marked? If not, I will have to go through all my cards or try to do this impromptu or with a stack. If I choose the stack, I will do a deck switch. Keep uploading amazing content! #Roadto10K!
What if you had them deal off their number? Rather than have them tell you the number? You'd have to count in your head as they're dealing, but that way they never actually tell you the number.
It's a great trick. But the spectator hasn't the option of choosing the card. Whereas the real ACAAN, the spectator chooses both the card and the number. The Boom Box allows the magician to do both.
If you backed for it, yes! Check your email & spam folders, should've been sent a few weeks ago! If it's missing, drop me an email: cavan@cvn.cards and I will send it again! Thanks bro
@@CavanBooth1 i just checked again, it was buried but i found it. I got really lucky too, when i saw the cards in my mailbox i wanted to open them but decided to wait till after work. On my break i spilled water on the cards so fortunately they weren't opened. Can't wait to crack them open. I've been starying away from what they look like to make it magical.
This trick is quiet powerful and easy. Its a great trick. However i wouldnt call it ACAAN. ACAAN usually means the spectator says "any card" and "any number" and the you find the card at the position (hence: *A*ny Card At Any Number). In this trick you let the spectator call any number, but the card is random then. Normal ACAANs dont have a prediction though. By no means im saying the trick is not good, just not sure if it can be classified as ACAAN

FOOLED! I'm not normally one to want to perform ACAAN effects simply because they're over-used, but this one is definitely an exception.
That's awesome! I agree they're overdone, I'm definitely guilty of it!
Cool ACAAN. plus if you use a stack instead of a marked deck you can predict the card before the deal which would be cool
Oh yes! But no shuffle, which is a shame. Pros and cons both ways (but I've used a stack for this trick a whole bunch!)
@@CavanBooth1 you could false shuffle at least
Yes, but there's nothing quite like having a hands-off ACAAN for me

@@CavanBooth1 oh thank you so much!!!! 😍 I will be waiting for that video..... 🙌✌️😉😉😉
Just watched till performance as I got to know that it is using marked cards. But awesome idea of using marked cards in this plot.

Can do! As with all my tutorials, I encourage people to make the changes they think would suit them better. Everyone's different!

Nope, Dystopian isn't marked as we thought that went against the idea of being blinded to truth, repressed of freedom etc.
nice one
NICE, big fan of the channel 🔥
EPIC !!!
bro fire def doing this

On the stream you said it was your go to trick.
It's mine as well now! ❤
EDIT: I just broke my finger so I'll have to be out of practise for a while😭
