I searched for Kieran Hodgson after seeing his familiar-looking face on Two Doors Down and was pleasantly surprised to discover that he hails only a few miles from where I live. Having been a scout in my youth and hiked around the hills within the area, I was able to fully appreciate the setting and the comic aspect of a group of scouts walking up Black Hill. I look forward to watching more of Kieran Morgan because I think he is obviously a versatile and inventive comedy actor. Credit also to Monica Duncan who played the role of a scout leader impeccably. I think this short has the potential to become something more substantial, perhaps a new comedy series. It certainly has all the right ingredients required from what I have seen. I congratulate Channel 4 for using this region, one of many wonderful backdrops for humour being set in this part of Yorkshire, indisputably 'God's Own County'.
I am so glad I watched this video. My lovely daughter has always been one for long walks, and despite the fact we live in Bristol, her best friend is in Yorkshire. She always loves long walks, and apparently (when she was 13) did the Ten Tors walk with her compatriots, by insisting when things got hard, singing "Always look on the bright side of life". According to my girl, it cheered everyone up! And now, she's nearly seventeen, and has a brilliant boyfriend who loves and cherishes her how much a mother would want. And where did she meet him? On ten tors!
That was enjoyable. I follow Kieran's channel, but this is a little different. Makes me want to visit God's own county, for sure! Monica Dolan is also great.
I am from West Yorkshire also and I assure you that the moors are the backbone of the area. You don't have to travel far from any town in West Yorkshire to appreciate them. What does West Yorkshire mean to you? This is a great take on rural exploration.
I know this is a comedy but as someone who was an American Boy Scout, our hikes and trails were nothing like this. We had to deal with Bears, Wolves, Bobcats, Rattle Snakes, Copperheads, Wild Boar and of course, our mortal enemy the Girl Scouts.
Is it just me or does Kieran Hodgson look like a young David Tennant? Now let me fangirl over Jim Howick (I'm such a Horrible Histories nerd).
I can only assume he agrees, given that he's done an impression sketch of him!
Jim Howick playing a scout leader....
Not just you. The minute I saw him I thought he looked like DTs younger brother
Yes for David Tenant resemblance and a bit of Eric Idle too.

"I didn't become a scout leader simply by being a woman in her 50s"
Awsome line.
Can't wait to visit God's County for the Yorkshire Dales Polar Express show now!!
I love Yorkshire and this was just great!
This was brilliant!

The first three chords of that Yorkshire song really had me thinking they put the wii sports theme in here. Now I am forever sad.

Legends don't grab 😂
you don't get enough Gul Dukat jokes these days #KieranHodgson
Wait do they not have Cadbury Dreams in the UK anymore?
Because they were evil!
Does that guy exclusively play scout leaders then?
I’m from West Yorkshire & it’s kinda not like this but it’s still funny
