I always forget that Horrible Histories was technically for children. I became completely obsessed with it when I turned 18, so I was technically an adult when it started. It seemed hysterically ageless. Lol ❤❤❤
I bought one of the HH books in the 90’s when I was in my early 30’s because I’m a bit of a history buff, and it looked like it was a bit of fun, and was only about £10. Within a few months, I’d bought virtually the whole series, and eagerly awaited each new release. Sadly I sold them and many other books when I emigrated. I was so happy when it appeared on TV, and the cast were just right.
Funny how Matthew says that you could probably just put a team together and Horrible Histories would still work the same because of its framework, yet when the six idiots left the show immediately took an enormous drop in quality
Watched horrible histories with my children who are now in their twenties. Still remember the songs from it. And now wonderful ghosts. Sadly ending. I truly hope they have something else up,their sleeves. Entertainment at its best
horrible histories is so clever in the humour - the actors are just amazing and have me howling. great for kids and pop culture references for adults. x
I love horrible histories, i grew up with it and now in my 20s it is definitely a comfort show for me and my friends and i quote it all the time. But i never realised how many adult jokes are hidden in there until i re-watched it recently lol
I listened to the full thing and it's honestly hilarious, not many interviewers get them to discuss their entire back catalogue of roles including those they hoped people hadn't seen!
@Catherine Walters Richard's interviewing them on the 3rd of July (now alongside fellow Ghosts actress Bridget Christie) ❤ Got my tickets, can't wait to see them 🎉
I still remember the sketches where Jim was a salesperson for various historical products and always began with “HI! I’M A SHOUTY MAN!”
WHO COULD FORGET
i always loved (while my daughter watched it ans as my son watches it now) stupid deaths
Yes!

I hope some of these guys start to turn up on Taskmaster! :D
It must be done though
TOGETHER! at least a New Year Treat with all of them, that would be just the best.
@@just-tess That would be WAY too short! :O
@@just-tessbut there are 6 of them, one of them would have to be left out! :'(

Sorry, I was reading your comment and I don't quite understand your point, any chance you could explain it please? 🥲😄
@Nomad_Rook this is a clip from a podcast episode :)
What I wouldn't give to watch Ben Willbond in an interview like this
Hopefully we can get more of the cast on next year.
@@Herring1967 Excellent!
I hope so, we definitely need that
Ben and Larry would be amazing
