StarbaseSim progress update: getting closer to proper hot staging

- Progress on the latest StarbaseSim update has been slow with moving lots of stuff to C++ in Unreal Engine and then getting the exchange between C++ and Blueprints managed.
There are also completely new systems like grid fins and RCS, that I'm currently working on, where it's difficult to estimate how long it takes to implement them.
There was an info post a few days ago for supporters which is now accessible to everyone, if you want to know more: ko-fi.com/post...
In the post it says that I was aiming for January with the next release. That's probably off the table already. At least there won't be any new flames as I couldn't even get to start with them yet.

Looks great! One thing to note: the vehicle rolls the wrong way here, in real life it rolls so that the heat shield faces to the south. Awesome stuff still!

It's pitching and rolling at the same time, right? I haven't looked at the exact rates though, but everybody can do it themselves anyway and try to get a good match
Forgot to shutdown the outer 20 engines for Boostback
At this point make your own real life graphics KSP with the earth, moon and mars.
maybe later on, but for now you're not supposed to fly anything, you should fly THE thing ;D

Maybe next update should me like booster engines touch so you can shutdown the engine and the ship with its own control panel like the booster

How do i do the gravity turn? Whenever i gimbal the engines for it the stack pulls an IFT-1
turn very slowly ;)

oh, are you on the Unity version? It's a bit difficult there. On Unreal you can just slowly pitch the attitude target, but if you have to directly do it via the gimbals you have to be very careful and go as slow as possible until you get a hang of it.

just download the zip for your operating system from the itch page and unzip it. There are also instructions on the itch site. The new Unreal version will be available there in a few days as well.
