I've been a Brunson fan since his last year in Dallas. I watched him so many times come in the 4th qtr and drop 8, 10, 12 floaters in a row to try getting the Mavs back in the game. He's lethal af and gets better every year. Dude's been playing with real heart for years now and it's great to see him get credit. It does eventually pay off.

I've been watching ball since 84...I've never seen a player like Jalen. He has footwork and shooting like MJ or Jokic. He is a bigger, stronger AI in the paint and smarter...without the hops ha! He is SUPER clutch, he is humble and he is showing incredible heart. The dude takes charges and hes 6 foot nothing...A knick through and through! He is a 1A player and a player you bank an organization on. Brunson will have longevity. He has a chance to start a dynasty and has made the Knicks relevant again. Screw Becky Hammond ahhahaa

Peopple say the Knicks were healthy. M Rob - who was looking like a DPOY candidate - was out; with Randle and OG out the last 3 games it meant 60% of their starting lineup was out. Amazing.
These two games definitely talk real basketball.
My only concern with the Knicks is they are peaking too soon. There’s a lot of basketball yet to be played before the playoffs. Can they rely strictly on Brunson being Brunson nightly? I realize other players can get hot but JB takes them across the finish line. Hopefully, they can sustain a consistent level of winning throughout till playoffs begin.
Don’t forget Brunson and Randall’s contracts still allow space

As a Raps fan and long-time OG supporter, I have a BIG love/hate reaction to how the media is talking about him now lol. On the Raptors he was usually this impactful, while also making clutch shots sometimes. But every American talking head forgets Toronto exists (the recent Pascal love also proves this). I'll never understand the hate/ignorance.
You know what I came to a realization why we need approval and opinion for others analyst when the game speak for it self you know the saying “action speaks louder then words”

Please discuss Joel Embiid injury. No final plan yet so may want to wait. Sixers have fallen in standings without him. He’s def out of MVP running. Do they have any shot at a chip this year if he returns or do they just try to take this as a gap year at this point. (As much as I would love to see them actually contend I don’t want Joel to rush back and do long term damage to his knee by just shaving his meniscus down etc) How would you approach a situation in which your star player and the guy you build your roster around is always injured every season? Does joel need to change his off season approach to trying to make his body more durable or do you think they are mostly freak injuries (ie getting elbowed in the eye)
Do they need to invest in a legitimate backup big like Houston recently did (when healthy both are really excellent centers) and Paul reed isn’t bad but not a starting caliber center. Outcome of the harden trade / - clippers seem to be one of the best teams in the nba and the sixers with both maxey and embiid playing have been good but seem to have weaknesses without their two main guys playing heavy minutes. It’s a shame because Joel and the sixers are one team in the east that can actually beat the nuggets with the bucks and Celtics having struggled against them but the sixers struggle within their own conference a lot. Would love to get your take.
Don’t forget about the Knicks being a 2 seed w melo (scoring champ), stoudamire (nba all star), jr smith 6man of the year kinda guy), Tyson chandler ( defensive player of the year) reallyyyyy good team
The Knicks could care less about the talk or hate. They are ripping it without key players. OG really makes them scary. A top Elite Defender! Thibs has built up every player who buys in the scheme. JB & JR ar Perfect . A ferocious Power Forward who plays hard. A Point Guard who has a heart & game of an Army. We don't need no ones cheap comments to validate who they are.
I think they match up well with anybody in the East except the Celtics, they still rely heavily on Brunson and Boston has two All-Defense caliber guards in Jrue Holiday & Derrick White to pester him all game long. I’d be surprised if Brunson somehow pulls off at least a good series against the Celts in that hypothetical matchup.

People were saying when the Knicks signed Jalen to that $105m contract for 4 years they overpaid for a #2 guy. Now we have our #1 guy at a bargain! He will opt out and the Knicks better sign him to that max contract.
