The images are from a movie adapation of a graphic novel called "The Crow," by James O'Barr. The joker you see is Brandon Lee, son of Bruce Lee, playing the role of Eric Draven/The Crow. Brandon was accidentally shot and sadly died.

The singer, Blackie Lawless, found Christianity later in life and wrote the song Golgotha. It is unbelievable and has an excellent official video that is a must see!

Commented Blackie: "The title is from a quote from American President Abraham Lincoln when he saw the casualty reports from the battle of Gettysburg, and after reading that he said, 'Tonight the Heaven's are hung in black.' So I took that idea and I wrote it from a point of view of a U.S. soldier in Iraq who's on the verge of dying and he's standing at the Gates of Heaven but St. Peter tells him that because of all the fighting that has been taking place, they have no more room in Heaven, and that he must come back some other time. So based on that understand that the verses are St. Peter talking, and the chorus is the soldier."

Cool, saw them live in Oslo last april on their 40 yr anniversary tour, still going strong. WASP was one of the bands who made Tipper Gore tilt and they started doing those parental guidance/explicit lyrics tags on albums

The song is about a soldier standing at the gates of Heaven only to be told by Saint Peter that there is no room for him.

It's based on a quote by Lincoln after seeing the casualty repots from Gettysburg "Tonight the heaven's are hung in black" meaning they are in sorrow. Based on that he wrote about the Iraq war.
His songwriting has come quite a ways from their first single "F**k like a Beast" tho not gonna lie that song still goes hard...
