- I got invited to the new Midjourney Alpha and it's amazing. The barriers to entry have been removed and so let's take a look at what's in store for Midjourney moving forward in 2024!
What Midjourney 2.0 will do is help EVERYONE be able to use text-to-image AI. It's a much needed upgrade and hopefully it'll be rolled out soon. I'm hoping this will be rolled out with Midjourney V 7.

No, I don't think so. It's still worthwhile knowing all the additional prompts and personally I still much prefer the discord server for the organisation

Good afternoon, tomorrow May 5 in Spain is Mother's Day, with the previous version of MID JOURNEY on Discord I knew how to fit your face on another character but now I use the alpha version, could you help me to remember my mother and give her a new character.
In short, how can you include a face in a character, a portrait, in the alpha version?

How do you make your artwork private on MidJourney
That's the highest tier. It is an option, but you have to pay for it.

Midjourney is fantastic for those who can afford it !
You can try it for free, and the lower tier is $10 a month I believe, which is a very good price.
What about AI generated content? Will the account not be suspended? Please, make a brief video on this topic.
As long as you have the rights, are not infringing in any copyright/image rights, and you disclaim you're using AI when you upload, you will be fine. This is why I use Midjourney, as you gain shared rights to the content you create on their paid package.
@@selfpublishingempire So, with those rights, is it fine to choose "not generated with AI"? I'm worried cuz if my account gets suspended, it's hard to make a new account in our country.
@@momigamer7024 No, if you make content using AI you need to select that they were generated with AI (either without editing if you didn't edit them, or with lots of editing if you say took them into photoshop and retouched them).
@@momigamer7024 And just be careful you're not using prompts that include licensed things - like disney characters, marvel, real people, well known artists, etc.
How can you upload an image to use in the prompt in this version?
It's super easy. When you write your prompt a box appears below it to upload.
Help !!! when I drag a picture up to use as a Image reference or a style reference etc. I hover over it bit I dont get the 3 options like the paper clip etc...nothing just the default one is there. tried different browsers like chrome and opera..all same ?? thanks for help in anyway
Hmmm if that's the case, maybe it's ad block or another extension? If you're struggling try uploading the image elsewhere, such as imgur and then copying and pasting the URL into your prompt.
@@selfpublishingempire Thanks I did try incognito mode in edge.. then turned of extensions..donwladed chrome. Turned of my touch screen, cleared cache, history..rebooted..man I got nowhere.. And on my phone it works.. on my surface pro does the same thing.. so I went and used a 10 year old laptop my other half she uses, and it works on there ?? lol stumped.
Midjourney makes nice pictures, but you don't have much control over it.
With --style raw and v6 there's definitely more control than previously!
Can anyone use Midjourney Alpha now? I'd like to teach some classes for kids.
No, it's not available just yet! Hopefully with the v7 update, but I would think it's not TOO far away. I love that idea though, I think it's a great thing to teach.
I think I'm going to start off with Leonardo because it's free and on the web. Then I can switch over to Midjourney once it's released.
