Thanks Craig. Oddly I started to draft this cursive writing book a few weeks again following researching a similar book for my son. It seems a lot of these books use a similar template, so as you mention in the video try to diversify away from the standard 'a for alagator' - great video once again :)
100%, even the fiverr gigs I found are so similar in the interior that I'd want to try and make something bespoke to stand out. Seems like a really fun potential area though, especially with the idea of making a series of books for different age ranges or different categories :).
Another great video. As a newcomer to the world of KDP, having videos like this is amazing. Helps me learn and understand the business model even more. I've just had one of my books get accepted for paperback which I'm so pleased about. When setting up my Ads Manager though, I entered my bank details and only the US and Australia went through. I tried to do the rest manually but each time, Amazon charged my card with £1. Is this normal? I mean, it's only £1, but I wondered whether they refund the money and just charge to make sure the bank details are correct and valid? It's things like this as a newbie that I honestly don't know about and trying to get a response from Amazon is proving difficult.

Thank you! One of the best ways honestly is spending time to look around on Amazon. Go to the best sellers and hot new releases in categories and find ideas, then use the search bar to see what the competition looks like. There are tools that can help as well, but putting time in like this is super useful
