Leveling up strength is good, but just to let you know, skill (dexterity) is going to level up your visceral attacks (critical hits) the most, which is very useful later in the game.
weapons that have serrated blades like the saw cleaver but also the saw spear deal more against beasts and rapid poison is basically bleed but for this game most bosses have resistance against it but for those who dont its extremely good
Just a tip make sure to dodge forward instead of backwards because the game relies on you being aggressive and out speeding your opponent and this can also heal you, when you get hit you can get your health back by attacking but note that you will have to still dodge the attacks to get the health back.
also do a charged attack behind bosses and enemies to get a visceral attack so basically backstab but for bloodborne and it wont work on bosses that are as big as the cleric beast or that
The tale of laurence the one who lost it all, are tale starts at burginworth a school of stuff, don’t really know what they did anyways there where a group of scalers that discovered the old blood and sent it to burginworth this blood has very good healing properties which is also your blood viles, and it looked good but there was one person who didn’t trust the old blood and that was willom but laurence thought very differently and wanted to ascend humanity by using the blood but Willom wanted to assend by using insight and ultimately laurence left the school and started building the healing church and the blood was not only an amazing healing property but also can cure all diseases but there’s a catch the blood when over used can turn you into a beast and when laurence found out about this he covered it up by creating the hunters and killing these beasts the public just thought it was an animal but it was there own kind after the beast outbreak in old yharnam laurence decideds to burn the city to the ground so he can clean up his mess eventually people found out, and laurence blocked the path to the church so no one except the members can go in the church it is a long story but that’s the basic understanding of the story.
Tips about runbacks and vial farming below. Before that though, a warning. You're going to get a ton of incorrect or unhelpful information in comments regarding this game. Bloodborne has some weird mechanics and it's very common for people to know something surface level about the mechanic, but not know nuance. The game itself also sometimes says things that are extremely misleading. I have studied this game to a completely excessive and stupid extent. If you have questions you want answers to, don't hesitate to ask. The runbacks that you have complained about so far have been long because you (seemingly) missed shortcuts. It's entirely possible you edited finding them out of the videos, but Gascoigne and the Blood Starved Beast both have paths between the lamp and boss fight that take about 1-2 minutes and only necessitate aggroing a few enemies. The vast majority of the bosses have paths between a lamp and the boss fight which pass by only up to ~5 enemies and take less than 3 minutes to travel. If you haven't found one for any particular boss, I would recommend looking more. There are a couple bosses where this is not the case, and they really do have pretty shitty runs, but those are few in number. Past the first bit of the game, rather than farming enemies that drop blood vials, you'll get vials faster by farming enemies that give a lot of blood echoes and then buying vials in the Hunter's Dream. Even though the price increases at several points in the game, the amount of blood echoes enemies drop increases far faster than the price of items does. Related to those two tips, Old Yharnam is an excellent place for farming vials. The shortcut from the lamp to the Blood-starved beast's fight location is in that building that one of the werewolves jumped out of. Using that shortcut, you can get from the lamp to the werewolves in less than a minute, with only 1 non-werewolf enemy crossing your path along the way. The werewolves are the enemies to farm, as they give nearly 1k echoes each. If you include buying a Bold Hunter's Mark, which costs around 800 echoes, then you still can get over 4,000 blood echoes in only a couple minutes, letting you buy plenty of vials, and simultaneously getting upgrade materials and other useful items. Additionally, the area you wound up in after being kidnapped is extremely good for this. The enemies there give thousands of echoes, allowing for extremely fast farming. The downside is that they're strong as shit. If you run past them to fight the pigs, the pigs are guaranteed to drop 2-6 blood vials and also give over 3,000 echoes per kill.
Appreciate the comment friend! First of all with the runbacks, I have been finding the shortcuts. I’m just used to Eden Ring so anything over 5 seconds feels long to me 😂 The farming also isn’t an issue at this point. I’m pretty far in the game now and I’ve been farming the fat bois down in hemwick since it’s a goldmine 🙏🙏
@@ajxeee dark souls 3 is peak but you will get used to the runbacks in ds1 especially if you get the shortcuts. Personally i think the game is 100% worth the runbacks

Appreciate the support 💯❤️

It feels like you get punished for rolling forward a lot on this game, compared to Elden ring at least
@ it depends on the position of dodging forward that matters to put it simply dodge diagonal forward

Way ahead of you bro 🙏
@@ajxeeeif you got the dlc get the whirligig saw too its one of the best
I've got the game sat somewhere. I might give it a go. It just seems a bit tedious
It’s a pretty cool experience for the most part, but tedious is still a very appropriate word to describe bloodborne lol
Next you should 100% do dark souls 1 or 3. Just beware of the runbacks in ds1, they are brutal 💀
Il be honest dark souls 1 and 2 scare for me that reason 😭😭
Dark souls 3 is probably next on the list 👍
