Falta simplesmente de algumas correções em ambos os consoles. Mesmo o Xbox series x alcançando os 60 fps mais estável, ainda assim temos quedas de frame rate.
A 10-15FPS difference IS. A big deal. That’s a 25% performance difference in some cases. 1% lows is what makes games feel bad”bad” that’s why FPS is locked. PS5 should’ve just kept a 30FPS lock so that you don’t see stuttering. I never saw my Xbox dip below 55FPS myself. I don’t own the game on PS5 but own Alan wake on PS5 and it dips under 40fps at high demanding parts of the game and it feels terrible. A stable 30FPS WILL feel better than a 40-60FPS fluctuation. FPS fluctuations also cause headaches so another reason to make sure it’s stable. That’s why PC always have the option of limiting fps
If you’re watching this and somehow convincing yourself the PS5 version is fine I feel sorry for you. I’ve got both consoles and I’m lucky to be able to pick. But this runs miles better on Series X.
The Series X runs the game better but that doesn't mean it's unplayable on the PS5. Albeit, it's not perfect but it's fine in a sense where it's still playable.
The PS5 version has a very weird pop-in where whenever the camera changes in cutscenes, the textures/model takes a frame or two extra to load. You can see it at the VERY start of this video. It’s very distracting.
You know I have to give it to Sony and Xbox's marketing teams. In the run up to these console launches all we heard was these next gen consoles were going to be 4k 60 beasts...3 years down the line and we're back to 1080p just to maintain a stabe-ish 60 fps. And in some cases like Lords of the Fallen all the way back to PS3 era sub 720p.
The texture of the ground in the first second of the video is better on XSX and on PS5 is identical to Series S. Other part has an advantage on PS5 side. Weird game. If they add a performance mode for Series S, even at 45 to 60, will be a great thing.
Games on this gen are weird, they have texture loading issues on some platforms. I was playing RE4 Remake on SX and textures looked really bad on quality mode and when I switched to performance somehow they looked better, a few days ago I was playing RE8 on PS5 and also somehow it looked better than RE4 Remake, that's weird. I'm sure it's not console's fault but probably developers fault? Idk
PS 5 have better texture filtering, some better AA or something thats it, but have much worst performance what is obvious because of a little worst hardware and not have RDNA 2 (Xbox) but some RDNA 1.8 (PS 5) :/
I have both Series X and Ps5, and while I love both and my fav game ever is on ps5 (last of us series), this is exactly why i also bought Series x. Same but I've noticed most games looking better and even running at a higher resolution on the SX but a little better framerate on the PS5 but now we are starting to see slightly better graphics and slightly better framerate on SX. I guess devs are starting to use the tools people have talking about all this time.
Framerate is higher on SX, that's for sure but usually games look better on PS5, if you check the texture detail in this game for example, also in Ghostwire Tokyo reflects look better on PS5, and SX has some texture loading Issues, like in RE4 Remake, some textures looked like PS2 textures and if you changed to performance mode for some reason they looked better. I also have both consoles btw.

Only difference is the the Xbox has more power in the gpu but they more or less have the same features like DLSS and such. There are no differences. The “differences” people see are placebo or limitation on the TV they are using. Not every TV has the same specs. Some TVs have “game mode” and VRR, 120fps native refresh rates. To keep everything the same it has to be played on the same Tv at same settings and have to remember the small amount of visual glitches games tend to have. Sometimes you’ll see artifacts or some textures now loaded correctly. PS5 doesn’t have better graphics… only way that’s possible is if the developers purposely made new assets for PS5 which they wouldn’t do due to cost and time. Games always ran better on Xbox. They just weren’t optimized fully and didn’t have to be. Games before this year ran well on both. No extra power needed. pS5 has the faster ssd so load times are shorter going into the game but that was the only difference. But games using advanced features like ray tracing or made in UE5 will always run better on Xbox if same amount of time was given for the two. That’s just a plain fact, the Xbox IS more powerful and has better software for games. Literally directX is what makes games playable on PC and PC is the most powerful option with best graphics. SONY isn’t a software company. They relied on the devs to optimize the games and the fast ssd while Xbox has software that can be used to run the games better. Devs are just finally starting to use it
@@Cristian-et5bg bro, believe it or not, high res and low res textures exists, guess you never played on pc you haven't experienced something as simple as texture detail settings, and yeah, they're the same textures but with less polygons and detail, they don't need to make them again for every graphic setting... and that's something also happening on consoles, a more simple example is ports to Switch, I'm thinking about Wolfenstein, textures look kinda bad on switch and it's the same textures as PlayStation and Xbox, they didn't make them twice, but they also look different.
@@silenthillplayer I mostly play on PC actually and they reuse textures. Clearly you’re just an idiot. For them to make two separate resolutions for the same assets will double the amount of download size the game would be. They upscale/downscale textures instead. Which is why an Xbox series S would look like the textures aren’t high res at series X. The textures ARE the same. Just scaled differently based on native resolution. If you didn’t know, which I know you don’t know, series S goes up to 1440p while series X and PS5 go up to 4k. Both series X and PS5 use the same textures and assets. They’re ports of the same game. The only difference might be on the software end like anti aliasing which are turned down if the console isn’t hitting the performance they want. In this case, the PS5 isn’t hitting the performance marker. So we can assume either the textures are the same which is why the weaker PS5 is getting less fps (they didn’t change up the anti aliasing) or they lowered it for PS5 but still aren’t hitting the marks. You get to choose what you want to believe. But I’m an actual game developer so I know what I’m talking about
As I've been saying for a long time - give me a 1080p resolution at 60fps with good lighting effects, that's it. I don't need 4K or even 1440p, 8K is beyond ridiculous at this point. Full HD has been around for a very long time now and it is not even the standard yet when it comes to television. We don't need such resolutions. It's much better idea to improve the technology of the screens themselves rather than simply boost the resolution and hope people are stupid enough to be impressed by this. It's the same with cameras and megapixels. A 100Mpx camera won't produce you a better photo, a more expensive pan won't make your dish taste better.
Seems like ground textures not loading on series x. This i never experienced on PS5 games so far. But Performance on the other hand seems to be better on series x.
Robocop is full of bugs and glitches, i got it for PS5 and im so angry. Its a nice project and needs a lot of polishment considering the 60 bucks it cost like a AAA.

I'm telling you, the more the devs start using next gen features (mesh shaders, vrs, the full suit of UE5...) the more the ps5 is going to struggle, we're finally going to start seeing the power advantage of the series x in use.
Mesh Shaders is Nvidia technology. It's component of DirectX. PS5 not using DirectX and that's why the technology is called differently there, but it works exactly the same without any drawbacks. On consoles, it is emulated by Primitive Shaders (amd technology using on both consoles and latest amd gpus) using DirectX on Xbox and Geometry Engine on PS5. Both consoles emulate this technology in the same way. Why does Alan Wake 2 work better on Xbox? Because the studio with Xbox consoles had worked more before and released two titles exclusively. Why does Robocop work better? Because the Xbox has lower resolution and worse graphics. There's not even a light on the 4:59 building and the texture is worse. If you hope that something will change in favor of Xbox beyond the rare examples like these two, then you will be disappointed. 😐
@@Orevuar the series x has both hardware mesh shaders and VRS, plus around 15% more raw power. If we saw no differences between the consoles it was because Microsoft messed up big time by not having the development tools for xbox series ready on lunch, they arrived almost a year after the console was released in late 2021, that plus covid and also the parity clause with ps5, was the cause of titles being the same or even better on ps5. Hitman 3, Alan wake 2 and robocop are just the start of a trend that was inevitable simply because the series x is way better console hardware wise and that's part of the reasons why Sony is desperate to release a ps5 pro that includes those features
@@yTcensored24 firstable if "Sony is desperate to release a ps5 pro" she would have done it already, as she did with the PS4 Pro, which came out 3 years after PS4 release, that is, earlier and which had no such reasons, because the regular PS4 was more powerful, чем Xbox One. You could remember it, compare it, and realize the wrongness of the conclusions you came to. And realize that you're inventing something that doesn't exist. Secondary, Mesh Shaders is Nvidia technology, not AMD, both console works on AMD hardware and both support Mesh Shaders on same level using primitive shaders. And i say it again. Mesh Shaders this is the name of the technology, not the technology itself. And so it is called only in the DirectX API. PS5 does not work on DirectX and uses the same technology, but with a different name at the same level with the same effect. And yes, there are no mythical tools, there is a priority of development for the most popular platform. No matter how much you like it, but the best work of some rare Xbox games is an exception that will not become the rule. 😉
You only got 2 games running better on xbox since the beginning of this generation, yet you're implying that this is the norm based on this 2 : 50 ratio ?
Look really much sharper on PS5 + textures huge difference (2:30 and 2:34) No perf difference in fidelity mode but series x slightly better in performance mode With vrr screen PS5 is a better choice (drops are in the vrr working window) and even without vrr if you play in fidelity mode, PS5 is the best console version for this UE5 game

I can confirm that this game runs way better on Xbox. Excellent game too I love the atmosphere. It’s a love letter to the first two Robocop films. Gritty game.
No, it doesn't, stop lying. And the only way you would be able to confirm it is if you have both consoles AND played them on both consoles. I do have a series x AND a PlayStation 5. So I have not played it on either console yet I know for a fact that it does not run "way better on the series x" As a matter of fact I know for a fact that it is actually indistinguishable. In quality mode they are 100% identical. In frame rate mode the PS5 occasionally dips five or six frames per second, that's it, that's the only difference, and at those frame rates it will be indistinguishable to the naked eye unless you are a reviewer with special equipment looking for frame dips. Also these types of things are often fixed with an update. Guaranteed I could go buy both versions put it on my TV and then challenge you to tell me which one I'm playing. You might guess right simply because it's a 50-50 chance but if I keep switching up the consoles every time and did it a hundred times I guarantee you 50% of the time you would get it wrong and 50 percent you'd get it right. P.s. I usually go with the PS5 version for the haptic feedback controller. Once you get used to being able to feel yourself pull the trigger it makes it hard to go back to the Xbox controller.

I dont think its the PS5 isnt ready for UE5,it seems more of the developers need to just perfect it. This game in no world looks better than Spider-Man 2 or Horizon Burning Shores. And they can run above 60 frames with Ray Tracing at a higher fidelity at that.
Have to say that PS5 was expected to be underperforming this gen tho not a these levels mainly nowadays devs puts way more effort on impressive graphics over optimizations also they just don’t want to get out of their comfort zone and STOP using UE at all. I can tell that since the beginning of the engine’s history games made on UE underperforms games made on custom engines that makes games look thousands of times better yet running better too. Why does this dude always give out wrong information. Is he playing these games for 5 minutes on each mode?? Quality mode is not a locked 30 like he claims. It can drop significantly. PS it’s not the ps5 or series x that’s not ready for unreal engine 5. Is the developers releasing these games before they are truly finished and polished. These consoles are way stronger than they get credit for. Unfortunately it doesn’t matter in 2023 when you have devs half assing every project. We’ll release it now fix it later mentality.

You're wrong about a few things. The 8k is actually possible. However you would never get it at 60 fps. The game stuggles at 60 fps because of the devs choice to push graphics and again its a new engine. Vrr smooths this out but on ps5 its dipping way to low and the quality looks terrible. If the devs at xbox are smart the next gears should be 4k 120 fps with RT on. It's possible.
You don't understand anything about hardware. The PS5 has terrible quality? It runs at a higher resolution with better reflections than the Series X, which is partially responsible for the dips. No Xbox or PS5 game is going to hit RT at 4K120. They simply don't have the juice for it.
PS5 looks sharper. Has better street textures. It has more drops compared to X in frame rate mode but it seems stable on fidelity. Ultimately i bought the PS5 version since i play in fidelity and like the sharper picture.

This is why some graphics cards cost more than the entire PS5/XBOXSX. Nowadays, many video cards have more memory than the entire memory of consoles.
Thank you for this video!!!
Series S is surprising.
Seems like ground textures not loading on series x. This i never experienced on PS5 games so far. But Performance on the other hand seems to be better on series x.

Consider i have both consoles , now i know which one to buy this on , Xbox Series X.
I'm telling you, the more the devs start using next gen features (mesh shaders, vrs, the full suit of UE5...) the more the ps5 is going to struggle, we're finally going to start seeing the power advantage of the series x in use.
😂🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Great video!!! Gonna get it on the Series X!!!
Look really much sharper on PS5 + textures huge difference (2:30 and 2:34)
No perf difference in fidelity mode but series x slightly better in performance mode
With vrr screen PS5 is a better choice (drops are in the vrr working window) and even without vrr if you play in fidelity mode, PS5 is the best console version for this UE5 game
No. Xbox is better. Framerate is more important than you think

PS5 got much better textures and resolution, look the huge difference from 2:30 to 2:34

VERSION XBOX SERIES X IS BEAUTIFUL
Where ??
I can confirm that this game runs way better on Xbox. Excellent game too I love the atmosphere. It’s a love letter to the first two Robocop films. Gritty game.
No, it doesn't, stop lying. And the only way you would be able to confirm it is if you have both consoles AND played them on both consoles.
I do have a series x AND a PlayStation 5. So I have not played it on either console yet I know for a fact that it does not run "way better on the series x"
As a matter of fact I know for a fact that it is actually indistinguishable.

IGN gave it a 7 that’s a good rating
They need to patch the game on the series x to support mesh shaders.
The game already supports and uses it.
I’ll never stop pointing at the crash remakes on PS4/xbox one i can EASILY convince anyone that those games(crash 1,2 and 3) are a full on high quality animated movie while they still running at 4k 30fps on a xbox one x which is half as powerful as the series x i know that these 2 titles aren’t the same but that doesn’t make it any less worse and proof is everywhere im just sick of studios not doing their job properly these days i mean how in the F devs can’t get a game like this to at least run at 4k 30 and 1800p 30 on series x and PS5 respectively i mean it just makes 0 sense same with performance how in the F PS5 has this horrendous performance at 1080p? HOW!? again makes 0 sense
Is IGN still here?
