(81) Dip technique _ The purple flower series _ Mint green background _ Designer Gemma77

- Today's video is the third of the purple flower series. This background color is mint green. It is made by mixing white paint with Bright Aqua Green paint.
The background color makes the image look richer. Today's flowers are shaped like buds. What's disappointing is that the leaves of green are blurred. Because the color of the leaves is similar to the background color, I think it's buried.
The color I used
----------------------------------
Deep Violet
Light Portrait Pink
Deep Green Permanent
Bright Aqua Green
Mint Green = White + Bright Aqua Green
My Paint Mixing Formula for Acrylic Pouring
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Fluid Acrylic : Fluid medium -1:1
+ A Little Water

Liquitex Basic Acrylic : Fluid medium - 8 : 10
+ Water
(The fluid medium I used is Elmer’s Glue-All.)

Lindo. Obrigada.
I recently discovered
A way of mixing paints
First time ever I tried it
and I matched it perfectly
to a color I saw on a swatch
I think I have a knack for it and will be experimenting again soon. I love running
into these situations.
Thank you 🌺❣🌺❣
Thanks for loving my video : ) I hope you get good results.
So gorgeous and what a cool technique I love the mint green background! I wonder if it’s possible to create a clam shell/sea shell using the same technique? Has anyone tried doing that yet? Did it work?
Thanks for watching my video. I have never tried shells using this technique. I think it is hard to express the shape of the shell. Have you ever seen my "easy dip technique" video? I think we can express the shell of the shell using "easy dip technique".
Thanks for this tip. I can now create a painting and will only takes minutes
Thanks for loving my video : )
Beautiful flower dip. Do you keep adding colour to your base so that you can continue the series
Thanks for watching my video. I have several videos of this series. : )

So you use acrylic paint and glue to make that amazing so pretty
Thank you so much : )
Beautiful!! Love the Colors!!
What was the Tool that you used to dry the painting?
I just found ur channel tonight when this video showed up on my home page. I'm brand new to using acrylic paints. This definitely looks like something I may be able to do.😊
Take Care Gemma ... Jill😊tfs
Thanks for watching my video. What I used was a torch. But it was not used to dry the paint. The torch removes air bubbles and makes cells. : )
Your painting turned out beautiful. I noticed cells in your painting, do you use silicone in your paint? If so do you use in all of the colors and how many drops do you use? Thank you for your answer. Also is your ratio of Elmer's glue + acrylic paint 1:1 + water or is it 8:10 + water? Thank you. I love you your work.
Thank you for liking my painting. I didn't use silicone oil. But the cells were made. I think a thin layer of paint made cells.
The rate of mixing acrylic paint is different from fluid acrylic paint and tube-type acrylic paint. : )
Fluid Acrylic : Elmer’s Glue-All -1:1 + A Little Water
Liquitex Basic Acrylic (tube-type) : Elmer’s Glue-All - 8 : 10 + Water
@@DesignerGemma77 I have "Master's Touch" tube acrylics, How much paint, glue and water?
Que maravilloso :)) eres artista de verdad
Thank you so much : )
Back to watch again. Thanks
Thank you for watching again my video : )
Perfeito. Fantástico. 🌹🌹🌹
Obrigado : )
Love love love, thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much : )
Another beautiful piece!! I've been watching you do your your flower dips with such fascination! My heart Beats when you go to lift your canvas! You was probably already answered this question a million times but may I ask what consistency your paint is? Is it really thin like you would do in a Dutch pour ? Or is the paint thicker ? Lord knows I have tried several times and I've got gotten nothing remotely close to what you are getting!! Your flowers are just amazing!
Thank you for liking my work. My paint is like honey. When you do Dutch pour, mix a lot of water to make the paint move well with a hair dryer. But when you do flower dip technique, you need the same amount of paint as much as well. That way, the flowers are pretty fixed. : )
@@DesignerGemma77 thank you so much for responding to my question! then with what I consider what's the normal honey consistency is a very small amount on top that quickly dissipates. Is that the kind of consistency that you use as well. So many different people interpret the warm Honey Thing which is why I like it so much when an artist shows us before they pour how thick their pants are. We all have so many different interpretations of warm honey. So am I going for a small noun that quickly dissipates? Thank you ever so kindly for spending so much time responding to me it's greatly appreciated
You are right. Honey doesn't have the same concentration. So I uploaded a new video yesterday that mixes acrylic paint and glues. : )
@@DesignerGemma77 I will be looking for that video! Thank you so kindly for sharing
I hope the video will help you. : )
Extremely beautiful
On which base your pouring the colour ?
Thanks. I laid a plastic sheet on the table and painted on it. : )
Beautiful! What do you use on your table? Is it plastic that you put the paint onto? I want to try this. They are so beautiful!
Thank you very much. You're right. I put a plastic cover on the table and draw flowers on it. : )
Thank you🙏
Wow beautiful. Do you use paper to lay the pattern on?
Thank you very much. I put a plastic cover on the table and draw flowers on it.
Thank you ❤️
Thank you so much : )
Bellissimo non hai usato silicone ? Grazie 😍❤️
Grazie per aver guardato il mio video. Non ho usato olio di silicone.
Thank you for watching my video. I didn't use silicone oil.
Can you explain what you were doing from 5:37 to 6:19? I could tell you were sliding very slowly. But were you lifting at the same time or did you slide then lift? How do you prevent getting peaks on the canvas when lifting?
Thanks for watching my video. I lift the canvas slowly. Because I want the central part of the flower to fall to the end. : )
Beautiful!, How much pressure do you apply upon the canvas with your card?
Thank you for liking my video. It's really hard to explain the pressure of the card in writing. If the pressure is weak, the paint may not get painted evenly. But if the pressure is strong, the paint can get crushed. We need to experiment several times and find the right pressure. : )
Makes sense, Thank you!@@DesignerGemma77
Hi, so pretty. Wow I am really impressed. Can you tell me where you I can buy a torch for this use. I don't want to get one that is so strong and burn my house down LOL .
Thank you for watching my video. The little torch I used is for cooking. It's the Amazon link down there. : )
www.amazon.com/Buluri-Culinary-Windproof-Camping-Included/dp/B077X9PLMW/ref=sr_1_9?keywords=torch&qid=1553698077&s=gateway&sr=8-9
@@DesignerGemma77 This particular torch is currently unavailable on Amazon. There are, however, similar torches for sale.
Love your music!! How much pressure are you using on the card and why do you use it?
Thank you for watching my video. I hope the canvas is painted evenly. So I use my credit card. It's hard to explain the pressure of credit cards in words. If the pressure is too strong, the paint spreads. If the pressure is too weak, the paint won't get painted well. : )
Beautiful! How do you use the paint left on the table? It is so pretty too!
Thank you very much. I collect the remaining paint and use it next time. : )
Hello, I found your paintings really beautiful. I'd like to try but I didn t understand how you prepared your colors before painting. Do you mix acrylic paintings with pouring médium, water and glu ? Thank your for your answer. Best regards
Sorry, I've just seen the video you made about how you mix the colors. Thank you for sharing your wonderful art.
I hope you get good results. : )
@@DesignerGemma77 Yes, marvelous, even if I got a feather instead of a flower !
Is that a form of hair dryer you are using after you lift it up?
Thank you for watching my video. The last thing I used was Torch. Torch eliminates air bubbles and makes cells. : )
Merci ❤️
Thank you so much : )
Очень красиво! Спасибо! А что за прибор в конце работы?
Я перевёл твой вопрос в переводчик, но ты его не понял.
Thank you for watching my video. I translated your question into a translator, but I don't understand.
