(90) Flower dip with zipped bag blown up on the canvas

- This time I did a Flower dip with zipped bag blown up on the canvas. I layered my paints and then put zip bag on the canvas, spread paint underneath and then blow it up and lift. I think that I got a little bit different effect, so I will definitely try this again.
Colours:
- titanium white
- metallic white
- phtalocyan blue
- dioxazine purple
- magenta
- cadmium yellow
- pearl cooper gold
- green gold
- yellow green
All my paints are mixed with acrylic primer in 1:1 ratio.

How you came with this idea of the zip lop bags? I will cut and frame the image of the plastic or glue it on a glass and frame it

The designs left on the plastic bags can be used to press a print on smooth paper. Or, frame the bag. Even better, if the paint on the bag is thick enough, carefully peel off and mount on glass. The light can shine through!

If I had a plastic bag that looked like what I wanted, I would try ironing onto the canvas. I wonder if it would adhere nicely. I would put it on the canvas with a piece of parchment paper on top of it, then iron (no steam).

Sometimes you just have to keep trying to get it the way you envision. That's why we call it expermenting
You almost want to try it the other way. Pour the paint on the plastic, then press the canvass onto that? Both are very nice.

Art has no rules. If it's anything this lady is teaching you - it is that. You can make art out of anything and express yourself however just as long as it makes you happy. :-) I look at EVERYTHING differently and she just opened my mind to ziploc just another way. cool!
