I've been eating this since I was a child. My ama's used to make it and I fell in love. Sadly, most of them have passed away and I never learned how to make it. I have tried and failed. However, there are a few things I didn't realise. I will try again today - besides tabbouli this is my absolute favourite dish!!! Thank you :)

Hi there, I love this recipe. It's my all-time favorite. The way you make it its different than the way I make it. I'm happy to learn your way. The overall recipe is so delicious. Thanks for sharing!

Which nation would that be? 😂... I shall take the nation's request under consideration...which basically means I have to see if anyone knows how to make it 😂 😂

Can you substitute something else for the citric acid?

Hey sweetie 😘....yes you can use more lemon juice and forego the citric acid.

    Don't you add some sugar?

I think you are referring to the sweet & sour dumplings... that's another dish habibti. The Arabs in Iran call that one, Chebab...I don't know what it's called in Iraq...anyway in that one you add sugar, the dumplings are larger and there is no coriander. In this one the dumplings need to be sour.
