Sir there is a doubt can you please help me , sir I gave intermediate exam g2 in nov23 and is a mp student and our fm eco paper got postponed to 3 Rd day from the proposed date in MP so there is no suggested answers available . Can you please help me regarding this.

Regarding the goodwill point, it may be possible that subsidiary had earlier acquired a company resulting in "acquired Goodwill", so that may be a case.
Yeah so the Subs can have Goodwill in its SFS. But while Consolidating, Holding takes over 'identifiable' net assets. Goodwill is not Identifiable. So that can't be just added to holding's Goodwill in CFS.

My small request to the teacher, please add a thumbnail " This video is for Nov 2024 students onwards" I respect your views but if you wanna fight with institute to reform then do it silently. Why youtube videos? You being a member of Institute take the the help of members to bring reforms not students!!! Career compromised ? What non sense is this!!! Creating confusion for CA students. Results change toh nai hungey na uske liye karre ye sab, but next attempt pe atleast careful rehte and abi ap jo preparation karre may 24 ke liye wo Pani me chapak nai hoti.
