Work hard, collect very good grades, aim for excellence, and become an depressed employee for a miserable income in a region where performance and qualifications won't get you far from the average. It's not a matter of BMW, SAP, Bosch etc. They are tiny cap companies and some are losing badly in the global race. My suggestion: don't do masters in Germany or anywhere in Europe unless you know precisely what you're doing. Disclaimer: my experience was mostly with Austria which is significantly poorer than Germany (in tech industries) but likely applies to most of Europe if not all. I have a PhD in CS (in Ö) and years of software dev experience and see no great future in Europe for people who are willing to do above average work. The language is another huge obstacle especially if you're a native of a caseless and genderless language. Unfortunately I'm not as young and flexible as before otherwise would move to the US or maybe some developed east Asian country. Sorry for the negativity, the truth is not alway pleasant, and good luck to all!
@@persiathiest1963 Maybe you should record a video about that. What went wrong? Why did you get depressed? When did you stop doing what you liked? Sounds like you should consider a career change….
@@maierAK First of all, I appreciate your reply! Most of the times people just delete my comment or just don't publish it like the Austrian newspaper, or they censor it on X and Reddit (Austrians again!). I could never channel my anger and frustration with this self-satisfied country and it's incompetent decision makers without getting cancelled. I have had the idea of recording a video for a while but never felt anyone would be interested. My goal is to discourage *certain* group of highly qualified/talented foreigners from moving to Austria and make them think twice before moving to anywhere in Europe and even to a great country like Germany. Hopefully I'll find the time and courage to do the recording soon.
Thanks for sharing informative content
My pleasure!
Intro is wild 🔥🔥🔥
I guess that’s what people now about Germany. 😂
Das sollte ein Pflichtvideo für jeden Ersti sein 😁
