    Although my hifdh still isn’t where I ant it to be, before ramadan wallahi I could barely memorize and recall a page despite having the entire day, during ramdan I took a break from hifdh and ofc made lots of taubah, dua, and increased in ibaadaat. 2 days after ramdan finished and I even was more busy than before bcs then I aquired a part time job and I got back into hifdh I could memorize 2 pages and recall with ease.
    I am a strong believer in sins and lack of dua having a major affect on your memory, even if you feel there is no progression from you abandoning sins and increasing dua do not let that stop you as this is whispering from Shaytaan. As well you must believe you can memorize that page or two, you must believe it’s something easy and doable or else you will continue struggling and believing it’s something impossible.

      How long do you take to memorise a page? Personally, I’ll sit for half an hour memorising and get 5/6 lines done. Then after that half an hour my brain feels fried, and I can’t memorise anymore - or if I do try to memorise more, it’s very poor quality memorisation.

      You can print images of the arabic alphabet and stick them on your wall to memorise, and for the short surahs you can read the transliteration which is english version but it will sound the same, may allah make it easy for u🫶🏾

      MashaAllah, don't ever stop, even an ayah per day. First, learn through memorizing the sound & refer to TH-cam that has a lot of Viewers, many good ones that teach the basic for easy understanding. Those who struggle to recite Al-Quran will get double the rewards of those who can recite fluently. Make dua that you will meet someone who can teach & guide you personally. May Allah make it easy for you & all of us. Ameen.

    • @amatullahsu
      @amatullahsu 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Similar method. Friday - Soften, Saturday - Strengthen.
      Saturday - Soften, Sunday Strengthen.
      But in this instance, you have an overlap. You soften the hifdh for Sunday after you pass the one due on Saturday.

      Revise what you’ve learned for the week before fajr and before you go to bed. You can also strengthen what you need to read to your teacher after fajr and revise after isha. Whatever works for you.

    • @AANaeem
      @AANaeem 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Softening - getting a rough idea of that page or so. Maybe they can recite the page by looking in a few times
      Strengthen - Now that page you repeat it again and again until you can recite it without looking inside at all

    • @theboxingbiker
      @theboxingbiker 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@naas2536 Sometimes a page takes 2 - 3 hours, sometimes a page takes 1 hour or 40 minutes. Count per quantity of ayat not in hours. You should start with maybe half a page. And slowly build up to memorise 1 page of quran per day.
      If you build enough momentum and you become faster at memorization, you can even learn 2 pages per day.
