MaSu is the band, it's not a single person... and i doubt Shinoda got inspire by them, considering their first album came out after LP blew up in popularity, not to mention that Machinae Supremacy were pretty much unknown in the 2000's... not that they are super popular now, but back then they were even more underground, and if it wasn't for youtube, they would still be hardly recognized by anyone. That sadly is the state of the music business, especially the rock and music scene. The talented artists who never reach the success they deserve are far more than the ones who do, it's just how it is. And there are much, much worse examples than MS. Looking at their channel, they have 30k subs and plenty of uploads with hundreds of thousands of views on them. Now compare this to the tons of talented artists on this platform who can't even break 1k subs and their videos get a few thousand views and sometimes even less.
All official music video's should be like this; the fans expressing their absolute love for the band and their music. Such a thing makes you proud to be among them.
