Only one of 2 marked traffic cars Staffordshire Police own so they are keeping it aslong as they can.
Volvo T5's back in the day were rocket ships. Some of the best cars most of the forces had. Shame really.
Staffordshire Police only have 5 Volvos now One Unmarked V70 which is CIU then a 2 spare ARVs which is shared by Road Crime Team and then the 2 S80 Traffic Car shame since Staffs used to have many volvos and they did for a number of year up until recently.

This cant be done during night time hours as they depend on the daylight to be able to maneuver their vehicles safely due to the size and weight to the load.
@@TripleNinePhotos I understand what you are saying but it's the opposite where I come from. All very oversize are done early hours.
@@trr4488 The route that Staffs Police Tactical Support takes can be very narrow and places and at other places very busy as a result of this they cant risk doing it at night there is only one possible route they can take and that is through a few towns and along an a road which at places is just a one lane both ways so its safer not only for the TST riders on the solo bikes but also for the public. If their was a easier route im sure they would do it in the early hours.
Hi, from an informed position I have to tell you, it is safer to move them during the day. Not wanting to tempt fight, but they have been moving these out of Stafford to my knowledge for sixty years, incident free.
It’s normal. Newcastle (the town in the video) has some major roads running through it, so we often get wide loads passing through.
