Israel didn’t start a war against Gaza… Hamas started one against Israel. You can argue that Israel’s response isn’t equal but they did not start the current conflict nor did they attack it.
Edit: don’t you dare respond with that hateful TikTok video. My family was expelled from the Middle East for being Jewish, we are not “Arab Jews” we are Mizrahi Jews. It erases our history, and it is just wrong. Israel did not initiate the war in 1966, they launched a preemptive strike after Egypt closed the straits of tiran to civilian shipping which is an act of war. You claim to be a pacifist and not spread hate but in reality you are doing the opposite.

Creating settlements in west bank and oppressing the people in Gaza is an act of war. What would you do in there position? Put up with it. Hamas' attack was wrong and barbaric, but they were desperate because of what isreal had done to them.
The thing is, even though they didn’t start the conflict, they are killing civilians pretty indiscriminately even though most of them are children. They are cutting off any means to flee for innocents who want no part in the conflict. They are starving the population who I will remind you are mostly children. They have reduced the city of over 2 million people essentially to rubble. As a pacifist from a war torn village, it makes perfect sense for him to be against Israel. Being against them (especially the regime) is not the same as being pro hamas or antisemitic.

But then when you made a video for it and explained how much meaning the song has and talked about the possible performance, I had goosebumps and tears in my eyes and now I understand the emotion and magic in this song too

An important thing to know is that if everyone had the same opinion it wouldn't be a competition, we would all know who would win. This is what makes Eurovision so great, everyone likes different stuff and there's often a song for everyone. This comment section seems much nicer than most toplists lmao but some people need to learn to respect others opinions. Personally I love Sweden and Austria!

Okay, had to watch almost till the end to see where you placed Finland. Whole lot better than I thought since No Rules was one of my least favorites at UMK this year (didn't really tickle my pickle). But nice to hear that somebody likes it 😄Gotta see the live performances first, but, if all goes well, I can guarantee at least one vote from Finland for Croatia ❤ I think I can sacrifice one euro for a good cause (that's how much the one text message costs over here) 😉 I haven't heard all the songs yet because I want to leave some element of surprise for the live shows. Out of the songs that I've listened to, Croatia is my number one. I like Sweden too this year since it gives me boyband and Matrix vibes - all that was good in my teenage years in the nineties 😁

You really have never reacted in such a horrible way to the murders in the Muslim Arab countries that happen every day. It didn't interest you that the regime in Syria murdered over a million civilians with chemical bombs. You were not interested when they discovered the mass graves of over a million and a half Muslim children and women who were murdered in the war between Iraq and Iran. There has been a civil war in Lebanon for decades in which women are murdered and raped in the streets but you all ignore it. In Libya, Egypt, Algeria, Morocco, Yemen and dozens of other Muslim countries, the regimes hang traitors to the regime with their families in the squares and you, like everyone else, don't care.
There are 45 Arab countries and over a billion and a half Muslim Arabs who are doing everything to destroy one country that the Jews have and in which there are only 9 million citizens, when we defend ourselves then the whole world is against us. Taking a side in the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict is really very hard because both sides have been shown to be sympathetic but have also commited atrocities with each other.
Armenia is easy to side with because of its democratic government and they've been to set aside their hatred of Azerbaijan to vote for them. Azerbaijan is easy to be against with with the their dictatorial government and illicit Armenophobia (to the point that you cannot vote for Armenia or you'll be questioned), and the erasure of Armenian culture (c/o that Caucasian Albanian church). But remember that Artsakh is legally their territory (like Crimea with Ukraine), and they never sent a political entry once in their participation.
So it's difficult to take a side because they may betray you in a second.

You really have never reacted in such a horrible way to the murders in the Muslim Arab countries that happen every day. It didn't interest you that the regime in Syria murdered over a million civilians with chemical bombs. You were not interested when they discovered the mass graves of over a million and a half Muslim children and women who were murdered in the war between Iraq and Iran. There has been a civil war in Lebanon for decades in which women are murdered and raped in the streets but you all ignore it.
