Hi- I wanted to answer CantStayAway- The scenario was that Lee was the Federal Agent and Amanda was a divorced mom with two boys so when the series started she didn't have a background in espionage at all. What she did have was an abundance of good instincts and common sense . During the four years you watch her growth as a valued member of the team- from a person who 'does errands' to a bona fide agent. Hope that helps

did Kate take part in a lot of the action, or was she mostly the passive female that had to be saved? Cuz I've seen a few clips and it kinda seems like the latter (which surprised me, seeing as how she came from Charlie's Angels), but I haven't seen any full episodes. I'm not criticizing, I just want to know what the dynamic was like. Great vid!!! I love this song.:)
CantStayAway Kate and Bruce did most of the action scenes she even did them in a boot cast for 6 weeks because she didn’t want to holt production and she didn’t want to use her double. The only action scenes they didn’t do are the ones where you see them from a far that’s their doubles.

I so miss SMK! TV was more lighthearted, classy and fun in the 1980s. They needed 10 more seasons of these two falling in love and saving the world.
