I tried the So Scandal and blind bought the So Candid, i dont really smell a difference, and for the price difference(the So Candid costs less than 25€) i would not buy the OG, thanks for the review, love it as always
Hey Maria, I have So candid and I love it! Bought it after I heared you and Val talk about it. So feminine and sensual. I did smell So scandal in the store but I don't remember the actual scent. I know i liked all the Scandals that were lined up🤷♀️. Best regards 🌸🩷

Mine goes for a long while as well. At least 7-8 hours. Usually my skin eats up fragrances and I’m left with nary a whiff 😂

So Candid is identical until the dry down. On my skin it's more tart at that part. But I still love it.

I have a decant of Mallow on the way. I’m obsessed with violet/iris 💜 right now - those notes feel fresh and new to me right now. The Jany profile is overdone to my nose; I already have too many with that profile and I’m tired of them! Thanks Maria 👍🏻

@@lucibellasandverse it has been one one of my favorites of 2024. Sweet, but not cloying. Fruity, but also slightly aquatic and the candied violets are heaven. But you really need to like Violets 💜 to enjoy this one. I’m on my second decant. I find it easy to wear and feminine. Great for warmer temperatures!

I love my So Candid! I can't wait to try the dupe for Scandal at Night. I can't remember the name of it off the top of my head. I know there's another dupe from Police called Shock in Scent for her. (It's very hard to find now).I had a bottle and decluttered it when I went through a phase where I thought I was over all my perfumes and wanted them gone .....so I sold my entire collection (over 200 perfumes). I'm still upset I did that. I've had to start all over again and it's tragic.
Actually I have both So Scandal and So Candid (Jomashop $16.49 + SH & tax =24.64 and they list the notes as the same as the Gaultier, idk) They smell about 98% similar. So Scandal is a bit more synthetic honey DNA from the Scandal line that the Lattafa (MA) doesn't have and I definitely get the milk and a tart fruit. It's softer (I do get that powder vibe you get, but it's more powdered sugar to me), I don't get any woody note; I'm super sensitive to woody and aromatics. It only lasted about 3-4 hours on me. I won't repurchase So Scandal, might not even finish it bc of that nose pinching honey note and I didn't get any alcohol blast with So Candid. In 3 or 4 months it'll smell better, so I'm very happy with it. But again, So Scandal has that DNA that I don't like. Everyone its different, so if it's your fave So Candid will never compare, no dupe will. For the money, though? No downsides, imho. Nice video.

Thank you for your info, I took it off my cart. I wouldn’t like a fragrance that last 4 hours. I usually lookout for 7hr+ range.
I haven't tried Mallow yet but I got a decant of Jany and didn't take long before I ordered a full bottle lol! It's so delicious to me. It's funny, I don't know if it's my nose or what but I don't pick up the apple smell that everybody else does. Baked fruit for sure but I struggled to smell the apple and it does not remind me much of angel share or any of the dupes, it's in a category all its own. It's a lot softer, more fluffy and very sweet but not too sweet. It's so good!
I don't get apple at all either, no booziness, and absolutely nothing like Angel Share. I get peach/apricot, butter pastry, and a soft, creamy cinnamon. It's the best perfume I've gotten my nose on in over a year!

I got Jany for myself and got mallow for my daughter for Christmas. She loves it. Pretty candied violet.
I just got my So Candid yesterday. Lovely. For me and my budget middle eastern fragrances are the way to go for me for 99% of what I get. (I will forever buy Blanche Bete tho that's my one big ticket item that I need for all times lol)

Enjoyed the video. I have been sampling Jany, and as I am a boozy/warm fruity gourmand lover, I adore Jany. I agree it’s in same wheelhouse as La Danza delle Libellule and Angel’s Share and I would add Kayali Eden Juicy Apple to the “family” but for me Kayali and La Danza are spring summer-to me they have an airiness to them and a similar apple note though the Kayali is much more linear and La Danza more complex. I feel that Angel’s Share and Jany are more fall winter with their cinnamon and Kilian’s booziness and Janey’s baked goods warmth and fruits and spices. I plan on adding a full bottle of Jany as soon as I can, but your review made me think I’ll sample Mallow. Not a Love Don’t Be Shy fan at all. I like Oriana ok (but not enough to get it), so maybe Mallow would be more me.

I have been wondering about this one and I just blind bought so candid since it's so cheap... Sort of wish I got so candid tonight though I didn't notice the apple note. I love apple lol
I haven't smelled JPG So Scandal but I own scandal by night and I like it a lot and I had a mini set of La Belle, Classique, Paris & Scandal and liked all of them except Classique. The Maison Alhambra So Scandal cost me $24, but I didn't care for it....maybe I wouldn't like the original either. It just wasn't my style unfortunately .... Not syrupy or honey like the others.... Just white florals and orange blossom smell to me.
I love my so scandal, 💕gotta have the tuberose & raspberry. I can’t have one that dupes a perfume without the the main note focus

I love mallow. I blind bought, when I first sprayed it, and OMG, my heart melted. It was a love at first sniff. Janyyy..is Thanksgiving and Christmas to pie to me. I don't want Angel Share😂

Not so great.. on my skin, so I use it as an after shower bedtime scent or as a layer. My husband likes it so it's not a wash

I have So Candid and honestly do not like it enough to purchase the original.
I have the knock off one, I've never smelled the original. To me the dupe smells like a heavy perfumed dryer sheet. 😂🎉❤
