Hello everyone, my name is Julie and on Thrilled Thrifter you will find that I absolutely love thrift shopping.(Especially for home decor!) I want to share all things thrift here on my channel to teach you how to go thrifting for your home, family and friends. {I'm not a reseller!} I mostly thrift at Goodwill, yard/garage sales, FB marketplace, antique stores, estate sales and so many other local thrift stores. I believe you can make your home beautiful on a thrifty budget! I will take you on so many thrift with me shopping trips, share my thrift hauls and almost always show you how to use thrift finds in your home. I post every Friday and sometimes on Tuesday. Hello Julie. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving with your beautiful family. We stay home and watch the Macy Parade it started this year at 8:30AM. I prepared the Turkey, Garlic mash potatoes, Macaroni salad with Albacore tuna with carrots and onions and sweet bananas (Amarillos). My husband made the Arroz con Gandules. We had a relaxing day just my husband our daughter and our Tuxedo girl cat. The creamer looks adorable. I love the colors on the tablecloth. Beautiful photo of your follower and you. Blessings.🥰
My son had the same Little Tikes toy box as a young child. He's almost 35 now.

I have the roosters. You put a board across the top of them. I use mine at the back of my sink to put stuff on.

Just saw your retail video. I was surprised that you went really off your norm. You did almost all retail Christmas. I didnt see hardly any thrifted decor. Even a half price that was more money than I've ever seen you spend. I was confused. I love seeing you decorate with thrifted things because that's how i have to live. My Christmas is all thrifted & i think it looks good.

Hi Julie, we just returned home from my first visit to Texas for Thanksgiving. Imagine how exciting it was to go to 5 Goodwills and a Savers in one town, Round Rock/Austin area. We had beautiful weather and hope to come again soon 😊.

I am in H town and I noticed that. I am used I have only been in H town a short time so I am still used to other goodwills. I am slowly getting used to H town goodwills.
I wish those goodwills would hear you about the home decor on top and move them. I am short so even on my toes I can barely see what’s up there. 😂
Those chickens used to be ends for shelves. There was a piece of wood across top and one on bottom.

Trying to research your creamer, I found many people stating it's an antique 1910 Portieux Vallerysthal creamer. Not familiar with that. I had to try to research it. It is absolutely gorgeous, and I had never seen one like it before. I love milkglass and have a lot of it, but it's packed up. Many people like to decorate with it at Christmas.
The wrought iron roosters, I believe were attached to shelves for your countertop in your kitchen. My Mom had some similar to those, different colors. The bottom shelf my mom used for her coffee mugs, and the top held her sugar and creamer containers, and a tin of tea bags.

I think the table runner you bought is Pfaltsgraff. I've seen the birds and swirl pattern on some of their pottery pieces.

Hi Julie, the one time you come to my Goodwill and I'm out of town for Thanksgiving! Went thrifting there today and none of the items in your video were there but that's okay, I still found a beautiful linen lampshade and four 24x24 in pillow covers. Hopefully I'll run into you soon!

Oh! Be still my heart! That table runner you purchased is the Folk Art pattern from Pfaltzgraf. My kitchen is filled with so many pieces of that pattern. I have never seen the table runner and would have just died on the spot had I come across that. So glad you got it.

I hear you. I’m about 2-3 hours from Conroe. Here in the crossroads of Texas , the housewares are put on top of all the clothing racks as well. The aisles are narrow. So it is very challenging trying your duck around and dodge the clothing shoppers
Those cast iron chickens would be perfect for a shelf and use for display. They already had the holes for the screws

Julie! I almost came off the sofa when you spotted the table runner! It coordinates with the Pfaltzgraff Folk Art pattern. I started collecting in 1985 and have never seen this piece. I'm so thrilled you loved it and bought it. Have a great Thanksgiving weekend. 😊

Hi Julie! Hi Jennifer! It looks like people are trying to get a jump on Black Friday shoppers. From a distance it looks like our Goodwill store is going crazy too. I can only imagine what American Thrift stores look like now. I love the little milk glass pitcher, it's so sweet! I wonder what song the jewelry box played? I have a box that looks a little like that and plays "where is your heart". My grandma left it to me. You have a Happy Thanksgiving and don't overdo. We'll be seeing you soon!❤

I'm new to your channel & really lovin the videos because make everyone welcome no matter what & you have helped me in the decor area, as I'm watching your videos I noticed the video that you shared making jelly & I saved that video to be able too rewatch it when I'm able to make jelly & I watched the video that you asked if everyone would like to see you make your grandmother's cornbread dressing & unfortunately I can't find the video that you made the dressing, can you help me find it as I'd like to be able to make the dressing for Christmas because unfortunately I don't have the recipe my mom made my whole life because she passed away unexpectedly in 2020 & the man she was living with gave 99% of her stuff away before I could get it moved back to Oklahoma. Where I am in Michigan, they put the shoes on top of the clothing racks and yes it makes it difficult to look through them as many people go in Goodwill just for the clothes. That little milk glass creamer is so cute. You got a good buy.

Hi there i just love seeing what you pick up at the charity shops i love the charity shops has well i just can't pass one without going in and allways come home with some think but you're charity shops are so much better than has in England but I don't do so bad iv had some wonderful things from charity shops and buy the way i love your kitchen lovely and old looking just like mine and all most all my stuff in my kitchen is from the charity shops you don't need a lot of money too put a.Victorian home together my house is a Victorian house so i like to keep it looking Victorian ❤
