Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia: 5 Similar Themes

As a fan of both of these series, I was excited to notice just how similar these books can be at times. I know analyzing thematic elements was more of the boring part of high school, but once you do it with books you love, it can be quite fun.

What's a similarity you see between Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia?

Both main characters have a set of a sort of adoptive parents. Harry: Mrs. and Mr. Weasley. Narnia: Mr. and Mrs. Beaver

I would say the Digory in LWW, Tumnus in LWW and H&HB, Trumpkin for Lu in PC, and Harold and Alberta for Lu and Ed in VODT

To be fair, Jack wrote Narnia 42 years and died 34 years before Harry Potter came out...
Narnia is much better but without even reading or watching Harry Potter I already saw the similarities.
Also, the Gryffindor logo thing is practically the same lion as the one displayed on Peter's shield.
I think Joanne stole the lion from Jack. Also I am a gryffindor.
