  • Post c section workout for lower tummy (GET FLAT ABS AFTER BABY)// Do you want to know the best exercises after c section to reduce your tummy? Are you frustrated with how your tummy looks and feels and want to know how to lose c section pouch? Then these five exercises are safe and designed to help mothers with their c section recovery, with the focus on helping strengthen and tone their lower tummy in particular. After a cesarean or c section, which is major abdominal surgery, it’s really important to avoid rushing into doing the wrong kind of exercises and take time to heal the muscles with these specific postpartum exercises. Core exercises after a c section should include comfortable positions and focus on targeting your deep transverse muscle. With Vicky Warr’s full instruction and technique tips, you’ll see how to connect the breath and activate the stomach after c section and if you have abdominal separation, this workout features diastasis recti exercises too.
    Whilst this video aims to provide key exercises after c section, you also need to incorporate healthy unprocessed foods with vitamins and nutrients and low impact exercise that still challenges you and helps you break a sweat, check out my other videos below.

    This was great. I didn’t get past the first two exercises the first time. I was 3 months pp but now at 4 months pp I have completed it all. I did have to leave out the majority of the pulses but I didn’t give up, listening to my body and taking it a nice easy pace to suit me. Thank you.

      Thank you @scrap scrap for coming by and watching my video. To help you keep everything tight during the exercises, try this: exhale and imagine you are wearing a corset and pulling it tight. When you do this make sure you do not do any of these: flare or lift your upper ribs, arch your lower back or push your tummy out. Enjoy and be consistent!

Eating habits have shown me are just as important to get rid of mummy belly fat! As well as the exercises in your videos. I have followed other videos too (To e & tighten) and some yoga pilates. Jeanette Jenkins for a full body workout. but I find that eating fish and veg and water diets work best. And I ❤️ your channel as you are so good at explaining and directing the exercises to get the most out of them so I tend to stick to them. I enjoy also some hiit workouts as when I don't feel like working out 15mins doesn't seem all that bad. so I enjoy Pamela Reif she has good lower ab workouts. I waited a while to exercise and started to try again now that I am 2 years postpartum and I can't do the exercises in this video, it hurts too much.
    Is the pain normal, should I push through the pain till it doesn't hurt anymore?

    I'm really happy I found your video. I am 9 months post c-section, my second one, and I have always been a bit over weight. Decided that this time I would do things differently and would actually focus on me and find the time to help myself feels better. I'm looking to strengthening my lower belly but also everything else, and I need to loose weight also. I'm gonna be doing this to start about 4 times a week, but for how long until I can start new exercises? When do I know that I can start introducing other kinds of exercises?

    • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Vaneesa Silva - I'm SO happy you are here, and you are taking the time to strengthen and care for yourself so you can care for your baby and other child! Thank you 🙏. Following this video 4 times a week for at least 4 weeks will help strengthen your lower abdominals. As you'd like to lose weight I'd like to recommend some of my other videos for you, on this channel, which you can start now, combined with this one, with the aim to help lose weight and boost your metabolism after pregnancy and in your first 12 months after having a baby.
      Postnatal Workout for Weight Loss and Tone (20 minutes) 20.Minute Shape Up: th-cam.com/video/xvWjkalaGFg/w-d-xo.html
      Do this one a minimum of twice a week, 4 times would be good. You'll enjoy this one with me, it's fun!
      Be sure to walk every day as daily activity, a good pace for 30 minutes and for mental well-being. This is the amount of daily activity everyone should be doing to function in everyday life, recommended by The American College of Obstetricians and The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (UK)
      Lastly eat plenty of vegetables and lean meat (chicken, turkey) or plant based sources of protein to improve muscle tone after a c section.
      Come back here and let me know how you are doing.
      Also I have a free resource and guide coming out shortly for you on toning and weight loss after having a c section, if you'd like to get tips and a free copy, please sign up to this free resource first 'Exercises to Heal Your Tummy Muscles': bumpandbeyond.club/free-guides/

    I had a c-section with my oldest and I still have a small pouch. After 5 years, I decided now is the time to focus on myself. I’m so happy I came across this workout. How many days of the week should this workout be done?
    Thank you so much for providing this content for c-section moms 💕💕💕

      Hello @Erica Sauceda, thank you for choosing my video and coming by my channel. I'm thrilled to have you here. Try this workout 4 times a week for 4 weeks. Ideally on non-consecutive days although it is not a big deal if you do it 2 days in a row. Pop back in after 2 weeks and let me know how you are doing. Be sure to schedule in the workout. I do mine before everybody else gets up, it sets me up for the day and gives you that sense of achievement. Good luck and please pay attention to my breathing cues for each exercise.

      I will definitely check back in 2 weeks. I have been doing it in the morning as well so I have some time to myself before my girls get up. Yes! I realized how important the breathing cues were so definitely paying attention to those. Thank you so much for the tips and advice!

      I’ve been doing this for about 3 weeks now (3 years since my last c-section) and I’ve lost around 1 inch off my tummy. The improvements are small but I am feeling my abdominal muscles for the first time in years and that is HUGE. I’d definitely give these exercises a try.

    Thank you so much for posting this. 3 months post c-section after carrying twins and had significant lower back pain and pouch. Been doing this routine for a week now and have noticed considerable relief on my back pain. Hopefully, with more time, I'll see an improvement on the pouch area too but even if not, I'm already thankful just feeling the difference on my back :)

      @Alpha Capaque - that is SO good to hear, I'm really thrilled my video has helped relieve your back pain, the 'bridge/hip bridge' video is excellent for back pain. Thank you heaps for choosing my channel and videos.
      Here are some other c section ones which you may like to help with the lower tummy area.
      Congratulations on your babies and remember you did an amazing thing growing and bringing your twins into the world. Hugs to you.

    I am post 7 weeks and my body after a c section has made me feel so low I am really struggling with my body. Would you recommend just doing this workout only for now or should I do more?

    • @BumpandBeyond
      @BumpandBeyond  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Sarah Greening. thank you for coming by my channel and choosing my video. I totally understand how you feel, I have spoken and helped many women who have confided in me that they feel the way you do about their bodies, especially after a c section which is major surgery. I want you to remember, you and your body did an amazing thing, you brought a human being into the world and you grew that inside of your body for nine months. That is a BIG deal both physically and mentally. Please be patient with yourself and your body, there are huge changes that have happened and you are only 7 weeks. This video will help you along with a daily walk, outdoors as it is good for increasing the release of our happy hormones; endorphins. Go for 20 minutes, increase to 25 minutes and then 30 minutes each week. I also recommend you seek out a scar tissue massage therapist in your area who will help you release scar adhesions which will help recover and then for you to engage the tummy muscles again.
      I also have a playlist of c section videos that you can alternate.
      Try to be consistent even when you don't feel like it. Ask a friend or family member to look after your baby for you if you want 20 minutes or so to do these videos.
      Best of luck and let me know how you get on. Wishing you love and light (it will get easier) and feed your body healthy foods; lots of salad, soups and vegetables with lean meat, fish or seafood or beans and pulses, if you are vegan/vegetarian.
