Having two big men was their formula to their 2020 championship to beat Jokic. Plus theyre gunna need two big me to battle Gobert & KAT if the situation arises
Just add Claxton and Howard and theyre good
Still consistent shooters sign back KCP or bring in Klay or Harden
I like claxton if he can become a javale mcgee for us and I always want Dwight to come back to play our main center role
I've been saying this for the past 2 months almost... Just resign Dwight Howard and Andre Drummond!!!!!! they both have experience playing with the LAL, regular season and postseason, and provide the same skillset, while both being very dominant and physical defensive bigs. Howard is a very athletic 2 way big that's also a very efficient lob threat and shot blocker that can be a difficult presence to score against for other dominant bigs like Jokic, maybe even KAT or someone similar. He's also a good rebounder, as well as an efficient scorer. AD is another solid big body that led the entire league in RPG a couple of times, most notably 14.5RPG when he was on the Cavaliers. He's also a capable shot blocker, and one of few Bigs in the NBA that averaged almost 2.0SPG because of his ability to pick off in the passing lanes, and his defensive IQ. His versatility also allows him to be an effective post scorer, and can get putbacks with almost relative ease, and can easily be a pick and roll threat, while being a very physical defensive presence in the paint. Moreover, this season he played off the bench, but still managed to average 8.5PPG and over 9.0RPG, as well as 1.0SPG, so he's more than capable of playing as a reserve for AD, and playing with Dwight Howard. Lakers need to just resign these 2, and they'll have their Quad Towers, which would be reminiscent of their 2020 Championship team.
Iono about Dwight.. ever since those rumors came out about him.. teams have been hesitant to bring him in their showers , I mean locker room lol

The Lakers NEED to bring back Boogie Cousins. Boogie just won the finals & the finals MVP in the league he was in... and he was actually healthy playing for that team. He should be #1 on their Center list along with Javale Mckee. I like D12. He would be great, too. Also.. if I was running the Lakers... I'd draft Zach Edey with 17th pick, unless the Lakers feel like another team would try to draft Bronnie early.
JJ Reddick/SamCassell are your coaches, they are more knowledgeable of the game than any of the current candidates that have been considered. They are your coach that will take the team far into the future as well as a minimal contract initially. They will manage the locker room along with input from veterans LeBron and AD; they are players coachs and understands the needs of there coaching staff. We need two real bigs, Valanciunas/Drumond/Dwight ( ie 2020 chip) along side AD, we need a six man, Dramond/Bobby Portes etc. We need a two way guard to manage Jamall Murry and Anthony Edwards.... Demar/Donavan/Caruso/Keli Ubrea/Marcus Smart/JaMonte Murray/Brogden/Gary Grant. We have the assets, the picks and the money to make this happen. Doc Rivers, Ty Lou, , Chauncey Billups had no direct coaching experience other than one of many assistants.
The toughest decision that the lakers have is do they want to win a championship if yes is the answer then pay me before preseason starts if no is the answer doesn’t matter which players they get don’t matter what coach they hire if I don’t get paid before the preseason starts there’s no championship period

Monk, KCP, Gary Trent, Keli Ubre, Caruso, Brogdan etc. These are bigs, Valanciunas, unrestrict free agents Dwight and Drumond etc.
3 point shooters, and ball handlers. We have veteran minimum players, contracts, unretricted feee agents and picks.
Definitely need to bring back Brook Lopez, Dwight Howard, Tristian Thompson,Javale McGee, DeMarcus Cousins, Andre Drummond,or go after these centers Robin Lopez, Alex Len,Nick Richards, Marques Bolden, Jakob Poeltl, Nic Claxton, Nikola Vucevic, James Wiseman, LaMarcus Aldridge, Derrick Favors, Paul Millsap, Blake Griffin, Hassan Whiteside, Steven Adams, Boban Marjanovic, Clint Capella, Goga Bitadze, I know LaMarcus Aldridge, Paul Millsap, & Blake Griffin isn't centers but they're big bodies to help out on the court & team............

@maurice2245 yea I know because the young players are going to want to get paid at least the veterans you can sign them all one year minimum $1.5 million like I said the Lakers need big bodies to compete in the Western Conference

Just put lebron at pg again then get 2, 3 and D so lebron doesn't need to guard the opponents guard and then put AD at 4 since he prefers that and get 1 big man who is physical nd can dominate the rebound battle.

Lakers were 28th in 3 point attempts this year. They get to the basket a lot and get fouled. Yes they sometimes have hot shooting nights and blow their opponents but they don’t depend on their 3 point shooting. They made 1 3-pointer in the in-season tournament finals game. And still won by double digits.
