What a gem that truck is! It's gonna make a sweet roadster. That timelapse with you and Shepard was hilarious and I loved every minute of it. When you can't find something, you will have to go back and look at the footage to see where Shepard put it for you.

I have the same latches and strikers in my roadster, I had to grind and file both strikers to get them to engage into the latches, royal pita.

Don't know what's better, Shepherd climbing over the axle again and again to get a hammer or wrench, trying on the safety glasses, standing back when the "loud" cordless impact was going, or him putting on the "giant" gloves...

You could do like Halfass Kustoms and put a late 4 cylinder that is injected and has a computer.

I watched you mount the tires for the "T". Please don't sit on a tire until the bead is seated. I suspect you were being to conservative on the air pressure you were trying to seat the bead. But that is a good thing. Better safe than sorry. Also, when mounting the tire, take smaller bites with the prying tool.

I’ve heard a story about Ralph Earnhardt (Dale Earnhardt dad) using screwdriver shafts for axle keys on his race car back in the day. Drivers would have them break and he always had spares when they couldn’t get them.

Since it’s a Brookfield, why not extend the open cab at the rear quarters so you can fit in it. Shorten the bed for the difference. Get your self a Pete’s & Jakes frame components.

About 15 years ago I bought a ‘29 RPU in not as nice condition. The biggest mistake I made was restoring it as a stock Model A. In retrospect I should have yanked off the body and bed and scrapped all the stock 4 banger chassis stuff. The stock Model A frame isn’t strong enough to handle any horsepower and if you’re actually going to drive these you need to keep up with traffic and be able to stop. BTW Brookville has been around (I think) since the ‘70’s.

Recess box the frame with plates 1/5 thicker than than Henry's frame, drill lightening holes or cut slots similar to '39 X member before welding the plates. The recess sort of hides the weld making the box look factory, a channel to run wires or lines. Pete and Jake suspension components would complement the car.
