I started when Mika dropped and got Wakamo and S. Hoshino along with her. Now I got the new Hanako and all of them are 5* already. But only Mika has her UE maxed cause she's the reason I started playing. I love that you can play this game completely f2p and still get the ones you want with careful planning.
Just yesterday, I was able to get literally all the fest students using exactly 100 pulls. I got Wakamo twice somehow too, and since I have no fest students before, I'm absolutely blessed. Though, I have a feeling that I'll be screwed whenever I need to pull for any banners in the future.
For mystic single target Track Hasumi is a great bargain for new players instead of trying for Wakamo. She's a event freebie and just doing the event once will net you hundreds of her elephs more than you need to fully max her out. I have her at 5 star with her equip weapon at 3 star and still have 636 of her specific elephs to spare in my inventory. Yes 636 extra with no way to currently use them. I got them all from the event. She's decent as single target with a variable Ex skill so you can use her ex in different situations and not waste Ex energy with an attack that's more powerful than needed. Mastering her use of Ex also helps prepare you mentally for harder content. With her ready to max you can buy elephs for other roles or damage types instead of Wakamo elephs.
Lots of characters can replace UI, not just New Year Fuuka. UI cost 3 energy per use and when used on Mika saves 6 energy over 2 used of Mika EX. So she saves 3 energy total in two Mika rotations. That's a cost savings of 25% only on Mika's use of energy. That's the same as +25% energy refill that only applies to Mika. Swimsuit Shiroko (and a couple other students) have a 20% boost to Ex energy regeneration. This is the same as -20% cost of every Ex use for your entire team. It works out the same if your Mika is paired with two throw away skill students that cost 2 energy each BUT is better than UI if you have to use even one Ex that costs 3 or more because you will still need that second ex to rotate back to Mika. The higher the total cost to rotate back to Mika the more effective the +20% is. So those skills are always equal or better than UI.
I almost dumped my 18k pyroxenes. Thank god I got the news that S. Hoshino would have her own banner alongside Dress Hina. I hope I can get either one of them and use the spark to get the other. Or better, I hope I can get both of them early.
Honestly hearing that I should try hard to get Mika makes me feel conflicted to either pull again EVEN AFTER doing 400 pulls or actually save for other useful limited char
dont do it man pull for off banner never a good idea especially for Mika, she like the most common unit in club, save for upcoming sparkable meta unit like sport Yuuka/Himari etc
Borrow her and try get more others. UE 50 is costly anyways and UE 40 is often not enough. ( i have her UE 40 and i borrow her for every raid when she matter) If you don't do Torment supports and tanks are more important than Dps. (of course somebody in club or friend must have good dps for loan)
Mika does get her own banner rerun. I personally never recommend going balls to the wall on fest banners. 200 should always be the limit imo. The game may be F2P “friendly” but it’s not certified “blue” archive friendly. You can and will lose to the RNG A.I that is arona, I can guarantee you this much.
The real reason why wakamo is the weakest one isn't exactly because she can be replaced. You only need 1 wakamo if you ever need to borrow her. The same goes with Mika. You should have another decent dps to fill their slot, Wakamo is the "weakest" one because she is hard to use, and you can really feel that her kit isn't aging really well, but not because she lacks damage or because there are other students that do damage but because using wakamo requires precise timing and position to make use of her basic skill, that makes her a complex character to use which is odd having in mind she is a fes unit, if you don't have her bond item, you will need another dps to help her hit cap thus making your rotations slower, with her bond item she is self sufficient but not in a new player way, those that have her should have this in mind, you can't use her like she is Mika. That's the main thing that makes her the "weakest" fes unit. The other ones are just brain dead. Also, there is only 1 character that deserves to be called broken and overpowered in Blue Archive, this spot belongs to S. Hoshino
You actually need 2 of mikas and other fest banners for torment of different colors. Because most of them are balanced with that in mind. But yeah, this is just for us sweaty players that want to finish torment in 2-5 teams.

I got every Fest character except Wakamo, i ended up using the Spark on a second S. Hanako to get her unique gun maxed since my Club has like 3 Wakamos.

with 24k Pyro i got : 5* S.Hanako, wakamo, Mika, S.Shiroko, S.Miyako, Marina, Mine and Izumi, I also got dupes but anyways. I forgot with the free pulls I got 4* S.Ui and S.Hinata. I Didn't get S.Hoshino unfortunatly but everything is new so I don't complain I got very lucky.
i was gonna pull wakamo after i pity s.hanako but surprisingly wakamo spook me on my 20 rolls im so happy for that and after i pity s.hanako , i raised them both s.hanako is 5* and wakamo is 4* i got lack of elephs , sadly i got kinda disappointed in wakamo's damage its so low compare to og haruna which is 3* and low investment, but they both max EX skill... as fo mika top notch * chef's kiss * i use her too in mystic bosses treat as her crit damage is their weakness, also i got both og ui and s.ui so yeah more gorilla power for mika XD... for s.hoshino i use her all the time not just for explosives , her atk buffs and skill recovery speed is the most important.... ...and finally for s.hanako she is unique, she can deal more damage to mystic enemies but not a much on actual mystic students, her EX skill i spam it three time as long as you spam other student's EX skills... ...for dress hina i will prioritize her but still i will use saori, her guaranteed crit EX skill helps me alot...
Got hanako because of the 200 currency, got rarer students (M Aris, Aris, S Hoshino). STILL NO MIKA I've been waiting for Mika for an entire year, didn't have 24k pyroxenes when she appeared, and 24k+ I still don't have her
I went all-in, spent 400 pulls, I got both mika and s. Hoshino before the 200th pull. Still ended up spending 200 more because I was searching for new units, eh, it was kinda meh. Not worth it if you ask me, once you get Mika and s. Hoshino that's it, stop tbh Now I'm at 5k and wondering if I'll be able to get s. Izuna, the track characters and the collab ones lmao
i've quitted the game a few months before mika banner, and just recently got back. saved 52k pyro and got quite lucky, 200 pulls got s.hanako, wakamo, and mika. i honestly want to quit the game if i didn't get mika, but i guess not today lol. gonna save the rest of my pyro for dress hina.

I have built both Mika and S Hanako to UE50 since one is single target meta and the other is multiple target meta. I like S Hoshino the most but I only got her to UE30😂
How I choose the skills to focus first? Also I still have a hard time with team building, specially mixed damage n field, my field teams can barely handle low level content
Always try to max out Ex skill then sub skill for DPS. In early contents you don't really need to lvl up skills much as you don't have the means to do so. Just bring the correct color against enemies, there are notable 1-2 stars that can pretty much carry you to end game. Notable non limited 1-2 stars to carry you early on: Haruka (Tank Red armor) Serina (Best Healer) Akari (Red DPS) Chise (Blue DPS) Hanae (Healer) Momoi (Yellow DPS) Nonomi (Yellow DPS) Mutsuki (Red DPS) Tsubaki (Best tank Blue armor) Yuuka (Tank Yellow armor) If you need help, he pretty much discussed most of them in his tier list video. In his tier list he also listed the 3 stars which are S+ tier so go check it out.

After 10/200 on S.Hanako, I have gone 2/100 on Wakamo banner (Neru, Miyako). At least I got a lot of high tier options added to my roster, it still is brutal to not get remotely close to advertised odds. But I'll take the Ako, Mika, S.Hoshino among the others (and the UE40 S.Hanako I was focused on) who were needed to fill my yellow and blue teams.
my luck kinda wakcy in recent banner in BA. like somehow i can EW40 Summer Ui because i get her like 4 times. thats also happen in Summer Hanako. got her 4 times and able to rise her to get EW 40. with how much elph i has i can rise Mika to EW 40 too. but my Question is, Is Worth reaching S Hoshino to get her EW40? because i only have little weapon exp and i wanna saving my eleph too.
Already had the other major players from previous banner but this time I got a ton of dupes, & acouple that i previously skipped(Cheer Utaha, Rumi) and S. Hanako eventually. The one i wanted most was Kanna for waifu reasons, but she denied me😢
I used almost everything to get s.hanako yesterday. Would you suggest saving at this point or should I try to get more units on the 6% banner whiles it’s here? I’ve only been playing for about 3 weeks and still have about 2.4k pyro
Like the other guy said, if you somewhat near 200 pulls and can reach it then do it, if you still didn’t get Wakamo then pick her, or if you already have both probably choose Hanako again, the extra 100 elephs is still really good. The 6% rate makes it definitely worth it for new players, just hope that you will get a useful students along the way like Himari or Ako
If I am new and I already got S.Hanako, S.Hoshina and Wakamo but miss Mika should I still keep pulling to take advantage of the 6%? Or should I save for future banners?
I wanna ask, I am new and still have a few 10 pulls to spare. Currently dont get anything from the banner but spent 200 pulls so far, so thats guaranteed Hanako. Should I go all in now? Im still new and thus im thinking to save and collect 3 stars I missed and make pulls in the next double rate banner like this.
Since you already had 200 pulls, just go ahead and save. Saving for 200 pulls is more important than going all in on these double rate banners, so that there is enough to guarantee for future banners including the next double rate banner.
Just started two days ago and got Wakamo three times so far (not any S+ yet) GR said she is not too good until investing. Should I restart? Or keep up being a Wakamo main?
If you can, probably restart. Hoshino (Swimsuit), Mika, and Hanako (Swimsuit) are more versatile and useful than Wakamo without as much investment, and Wakamo may still be substituted with other blue damage dealers.

I got Mika, S. Hoshino, S Hanako, and pity Wakamo. Along the way got some characters, but the only meta one is Cherino (I was hoping for Ako and/or Himari). 5 star all the fest units because why not. The only problem is that i'm broke (not pyrox, I have about 100k of them). Have about 300k credit, can't do much at the moment.
What is the point of this rating? The fact that Hanako is good was already clear, other festive characters are not in the pity. You only made things more confusing. Am I missing something? The next festive banner would be in 6 months with new rate up characters, all others are available on each festive banner with 0.3%. My question was if I got Hanako early, do I continue pulling on Wakamo. Instead I’m getting explanation that others are better, but what can I do about it, their rate is the same.
I guess for people with a _lot_ of excess pyroxenes. Even then, it's not that good of an idea. For your question, if you don't have particular plans on using those remaining pulls on future banners, then yes, you may try to get Wakamo on her banner after getting Hanako on the other banner. If you manage to get both of them under 200 pulls, you may also choose to either stop pulling or instead continue to pull until 200 pulls to get elephs for either Hanako or Wakamo.

The costume one is from the next one, 6 months ahead. Just read some other comments, looks like people are really going for more than 400 pulls for off banner unit. So, this rating is only for small percentage of players for most people it just creates a confusion.
Guys, completed the 200 pull cycle and got s.Hanako, now shoud i use spark points on her to get another copy and invest on her, or should i get my first copy of wakamo? (im a rlatively new player and already got s. azusa for mystic type)

The stars can be raised by getting the character's elephs, which can be obtained from the main shop (Eligma 1, Total Assault, Joint Firing Drill, and Grand Assault sections), the banners, or the event shop or rewards. As with many resources, it requires time and playing through the game.

This fest banner didn't hit like the last one for me. I had a good run, but not as many 5 stars like last time. Granted I don't have the resources to even build what I have now.... but would've been nice to get more stuff.

It took me around 460 summons until Mika appeared but I knew the odds so saved three sparks for the best odds

S. Hanako absolutely destroys the mobs that Goz spawns. She's my main dps in the first round against that cursed cat.

Hi, i've seen there's a new update gear which is level 8, is there more than that, like level 9 or 10?
Already had the other major players from previous banner but this time I got a ton of dupes, & acouple that i previously skipped(Cheer Utaha, Rumi) and S. Hanako eventually. The one i wanted most was Kanna for waifu reasons, but she denied me😢
I don't need tank, just use mika, also, not even in mid game yet, still level 40 and already need track yuuka, shit.
In some situations Kazusa can out damage Mika but isn't nearly as overall useful.
I used almost everything to get s.hanako yesterday. Would you suggest saving at this point or should I try to get more units on the 6% banner whiles it’s here? I’ve only been playing for about 3 weeks and still have about 2.4k pyro
It depends on how much is your pity right now, if you're too far from 200 to choose a student then just save
Like the other guy said, if you somewhat near 200 pulls and can reach it then do it, if you still didn’t get Wakamo then pick her, or if you already have both probably choose Hanako again, the extra 100 elephs is still really good. The 6% rate makes it definitely worth it for new players, just hope that you will get a useful students along the way like Himari or Ako

if you not on 200 pull yet then you can try to max 200 for more 3* student, 6% banner always good for full anyway

It depends on how much pyroxene you have and how much is your pity right now
I wanna ask, I am new and still have a few 10 pulls to spare. Currently dont get anything from the banner but spent 200 pulls so far, so thats guaranteed Hanako. Should I go all in now? Im still new and thus im thinking to save and collect 3 stars I missed and make pulls in the next double rate banner like this.
Since you already had 200 pulls, just go ahead and save. Saving for 200 pulls is more important than going all in on these double rate banners, so that there is enough to guarantee for future banners including the next double rate banner.
Just started two days ago and got Wakamo three times so far (not any S+ yet)
GR said she is not too good until investing. Should I restart? Or keep up being a Wakamo main?
If you can, probably restart. Hoshino (Swimsuit), Mika, and Hanako (Swimsuit) are more versatile and useful than Wakamo without as much investment, and Wakamo may still be substituted with other blue damage dealers.
Wakamo can be substituted by a free unit (Sports Hasumi), but all those others are literally essential to their raids.

Limited characters don’t show up on the character list unless they’re on the current banner or if you already have them

I got Mika, S. Hoshino, S Hanako, and pity Wakamo. Along the way got some characters, but the only meta one is Cherino (I was hoping for Ako and/or Himari). 5 star all the fest units because why not. The only problem is that i'm broke (not pyrox, I have about 100k of them). Have about 300k credit, can't do much at the moment.
What is the point of this rating? The fact that Hanako is good was already clear, other festive characters are not in the pity. You only made things more confusing.
Am I missing something? The next festive banner would be in 6 months with new rate up characters, all others are available on each festive banner with 0.3%.
My question was if I got Hanako early, do I continue pulling on Wakamo. Instead I’m getting explanation that others are better, but what can I do about it, their rate is the same.
I guess for people with a _lot_ of excess pyroxenes. Even then, it's not that good of an idea.
For your question, if you don't have particular plans on using those remaining pulls on future banners, then yes, you may try to get Wakamo on her banner after getting Hanako on the other banner. If you manage to get both of them under 200 pulls, you may also choose to either stop pulling or instead continue to pull until 200 pulls to get elephs for either Hanako or Wakamo.
@@cheekywombat9208 thanks for answer, yes, but from what I understand, those units he is talking about are not in nearest future banners, only in festive banners. The costume one is from the next one, 6 months ahead.
Just read some other comments, looks like people are really going for more than 400 pulls for off banner unit. So, this rating is only for small percentage of players for most people it just creates a confusion.

Guys, completed the 200 pull cycle and got s.Hanako, now shoud i use spark points on her to get another copy and invest on her, or should i get my first copy of wakamo? (im a rlatively new player and already got s. azusa for mystic type)
I'd say Wakamo, a few Hanako shards you can get anytime. Unless you HATE wakamo and would never use her, she's more valuable for your account.

How do you have so high stars on so many units? (new player here, sorry if that's a stupid question)
The stars can be raised by getting the character's elephs, which can be obtained from the main shop (Eligma 1, Total Assault, Joint Firing Drill, and Grand Assault sections), the banners, or the event shop or rewards. As with many resources, it requires time and playing through the game.

I got her on 30th and on around 1xxth pull, then S.Hoshino, then S.Hanako, then Wakamo. Made them all UE40. Life good. Also got a lot of gud 3* chars.
That's gacha for ya'll. It's either you win early or lose to pity. I also did 400 rolls but it was during Mika banner, unfortunately didn't got Wakamo spook. Tho I got S. Hoshino to UE30 and Mika to UE50 so this fest saves me getting Wakamo (and Hanako to UE50) for 200 rolls.

This fest banner didn't hit like the last one for me. I had a good run, but not as many 5 stars like last time. Granted I don't have the resources to even build what I have now.... but would've been nice to get more stuff.
