That thing sounds EXCELLET! The 3800 just might be the most underrated engine ever. Everybody always wants the 700 or 800 or 900hp whatever, but when you think about it, this engine is 370 pounds lighter than a hellcat engine. There are adapter plates you can get from Australia to bolt it to awesome transmissions. And when you take them apart, they're like LS engines shrunk down. You can get a 3800 core for less than the cost of some used coyote cams.
where do i get the adapter plate for the transmission? can i have more info on this?

Getting ready to install a cam on my Bonneville, did you have to pull the engine when you installed your cam? Or were you able to leave the motor in?
I pulled the entire engine out, these engine are really easy to pull. I had it out and just a few hours.

Did you have to change pushrod length to run this cam?
Yes I did, I think it ended up being that ZZP recommended. 7.00 push rod

Im currently working on pump/rewire kit so i can drop to a 3.0
I have everything to do it. But e85 isn’t very close to me to make it worth it. Maybe down the road ill change my mind.

I’m running a 3.0 on 91 currently, intercooler and headers, gen 5 blower north star throttle body lq4 maf but honestly I should have a cam upgrade to be running this 3.0,, it makes max boost with just a slight blip of throttle, full throttle the boost is pretty much useless as I’m reaching max boost long before full throttle, so just keep that in mind if you dont have any other supporting mods your not gonna gain more hp by dropping just build the boost faster

You had to get it tune?
I did not have it tuned after install of the NIC cam, still ran fine. But I have since then gotten it tuned.
How much did it cost for the cam installation?
I did the install my self, when i bought the cam is was around $300 something. Not including the supporting mods needed, retainers, 136lb springs, locks and double roller. So add another 200-300 for all that give or take.

Honestly I could not tell you. Ive never had it dynoed. Im getting ready to add a bunch more upgrades tho. So hopefully after that I can get some numbers and post a new video.
