Amazing video we have been there twice to see the festival it is amazing the atmosphere no drunks and no trouble. Only in Spain can they do anything like that. 😊😊

Apart from the spectacular fireworks and pageantry, what struck me was the image of rows of people holding up their mobile phones to record the experience. That in itself will be a marker for our times.

Never ever seen anything like that. The huge fireworks and plumes of smoke at 2pm and the that incredible scene at 11pm onwards.

Good morning , Valencia is an incredible City one of our favourites, but this was a level up even for Valencia., still buzzing now when I think about it. I know it wouldn't be a popular video in comparison to the others we post, but it had to be done for the interested few and for our memories. Thanks for taking time to watch it . What an amazing spectacle, much as I'd love to see it I think it would be far too smoky, crowded & noisy for me but thank you so so much for sharing.
The giant tortoise and other mechanical things parading through the street were spectacular as far as I am aware nothing like this has really taken off in the Uk to this scale, we have the large amazing carnivals in the west country and our fireworks I think are less smoky but it could be my Imagination or I may have viewed through Rose tinted glasses. 😂Many many thanks for sharing.

Fantastic would love to witness this in person as you mentioned a great atmosphere and you felt safe..what struck me is all the mobile phones! This is how we have all become attached to them and view far too much through them. That aside what a great experience thanks for sharing.

As a Spaniard, I think you´re easily one the most charming couples, offering some of the very best content about Spain on TH-cam, through the eyes of foreigners.
And while I´m still not sure if I should be raining on your parade... did you know that an ever-increasing number of Valencians keep summer vacation days to ESCAPE the absolutely noisy nightmare the Fallas actually are, for many local residents??

Out of the 20 European Nations we’ve visited it’s our favourite and we love the people here to. It’s interesting to understand local people’s perspective thankyou. Anyway, I just meant to say that while it´s one of the more important festivities in Spain, without a doubt, it´s a different thing for all those people who cannot enjoy, but ENDURE, the absolute madness it comes with it. Heck, if just every dog in Valencia had a saying, Fallas would´ve been forbidden decades ago... :D

Hi Ivan , The Falla is made of papier-mache on a wooden carcass. It is then sanded and painted , designed to burn easily but then fall in on itself. Remarkable pieces of art they are. Thanks for watching, best wishes . Helen and Martin
