Thanks for the interesting video! One other thing regarding the conversion to pure black text: doing this is also important if you want to reduce click costs when printing files which are combinations of pages in both color and b&w.
Very nice details to handle more complicated Canva-jobs. Usually we just throw every file into a droplet and let it convert to PDF:X to get rid of all the transparencies that give problems. Sometimes Canva PDFs are also just rasterized, which doesn't help with having to edit them at all. And the business card sizes are absolutely wrong for EU. Aside from that, files made in PowerPoint and such are also just a pain.
Is it just appearing grey, or is the actual output grey? Check the Output Preview to see what the color breakdown is. The conversion may have made the text a black mix instead of a true 100% black.

Very true, however, all colors on the page then must be in b/w only, so converting those pages to grayscale is a necessity. Good point.

Man, I heard that. Power Point or Publisher files are probably the worst of any I have to deal with.
We would love more printshop videos
Hopefully soon.
When I run this on some files, it makes the black text appear gray. Is there any way to make the black darker?

Thank you
No problem.
