When I had my store in Palo Alto California for 25 years, Movie Memories poster shop I always told the buyer when a poster was original or as we liked to call them a reprint movie poster we would sell for $18.95 , New original movie posters $18.95 and up, We started in the late 1980’s We world never sell a reprint poster as a original.

I would have demanded a refund on that PULP FICTION. It is a very hard poster to procure an original of. If the seller was in any way legitimate, he would have guaranteed his product. Cinema Masterpieces is an authentic and reliable dealer. A tad overpriced but his stuff is legitimate. He guarantees it.

i worked in a movie rental store and saved a lot of the posters i know there not from the theater but they are from the time of the movie release they are not what you wold call faked. im curious if there is a market and how much less there worth is

They are not highly collectible as most poster collectors would want the theatrical release poster and not the video release poster. Some can take many years to sell but if you have a video poster from a highly desirable theatrical movie poster and sell it at a fraction of the cost, then they are are easier to sell. But most videos posters are only worth maybe £5-£20 at most. The so called video nasty video posters could be the only exception…
