I learned from another comment that the curling irons in salons are extra clicky sometimes because they don’t always have springs in them like store bought ones!
for the beach wedding hair; you can tell the stylist really had fun with the accessories. it was endearing to see her light up when asking if you wanted flowers.
I remember when this channel started, Twix was a little more understated in her appearance, but very cute. She has definitely blossomed, very beautiful. I like non-English ASMR so I can zone out, just hear the sounds and let the sounds soak in. Versus English speaking ASMR channels where my brain “forces” me to listen. And soft female voices (that aren’t just whispering) make it better. Really helps my brain “zone out” the noise in my head from being blown up too many times (from my time is Iraq & Afghanistan). Anyway, glad to see a channel that doesn’t use roll playing and revealing outfits to succeed.
Totally agree with you on being able to zone out because it's not in English and that it's soft spoken instead of that annoying unnatural whispering! I am able to put on headphones while at work and listen while still being able to concentrate on what I'm doing. Love how soft spoken and polite sounding all of the Japanese female vendors are. My fav so far is the color draping---which was very interesting and informative to boot!
I completely agree, Englsh speaking irritates and annoys me. I don't actuslly want to know what they are saying. And as for some of the new clattering, nattering sessions, they are just self indulgent nonsense.

I’m not sure if other people have commented this before but I think you might have curly hair and the products you use for your hair (particularly shampoo) might be for straight hair. I only say this because I thought my hair was straight and it looked a lot like yours right now but once I started to use the right products it changed completely 😊

In regards to your wedding questions - no matter what you choose, more relaxed or more classical, which I am sure will partly be based on what your spouse wants, remember that ~less is more~ Don’t spend a ton of money. It’s better to save it for living. Simple is generally more elegant than complicated. My husband an I eloped to a nearby island for a simple ceremony, and a weekend sailing and sightseeing, staying at a bed & breakfast cottage. We have lovely memories of that. On our 15th anniversary we rented a hall for a full renewal of vows, and a restaurant for a full reception. Florist, flower girls, table centerpieces, decor, catering, big cake, DJ and the whole thing. The more money you spend - the higher the stress level, and the more things that will need doing/oversight, and the more that will go wrong. Overall I wish we had saved the money. We may do another renewal on our 30th anniversary and it will be much more like our first wedding: Simple, elegant, in nature somewhere, probably with a pot-luck fire circle after.
I don't even like make-up or going to the salon, but I'm hooked on your videos! I love the respectful and gentle dynamic between you and the Japanese stylist. Thanks for sharing! (My favorite was the last hair style.)

I have watched these so many times I question my sanity but then you uploaded them all together so it looks like I can just enjoy without any self- judgement! 👍😁 What might be fun is to see how a stylist would style your natural wave/curls. Curly hair is an art (I have it, it takes work!) and not all stylists can bring out the curls well. Although, not sure if a blow dryer would bring very much ASMR? Also - the colors in the dress in the first segment really suit your coloring. You're a Winter!
