If you ever pass by Jacksonville there is a parking lot next to the fire station that gives a great view of terminal A and a decent view of the runway

SAV has one of the best varieties of traffic I’ve seen, I remember holding short in my Archer with a JetBlue Airbus landing and two F-16s behind me, and then there’s the Gulfstreams!

It is. The base is a bit southeast of the main airport. Good for hoping back and forth training wise doing loops.
