Great fly, Congratulations on your Salmon fishing and quitting smoking. I still smoke and it is killing me. I can't seem to stay quit. I have been smoking for longer than you have been living and that may have something to do with it. That looks a pretty easy fly to tie for a beginner, I may have to try that and see if it works on our rivers in the UK, looks like a good pike fly as well
