Firstly, I wish you a prosperous 2025. Secondly, I enjoyed your top ten -- it's given me a number of authors to check out, and it's another reminder to read All The Fiends of Hell already! 🤘🖖
I read Psycho and Black Sheep after hearing you talk about them and I enjoyed them both very much! I also bought Neville's ebook but forgot about it until just now, Lol (easier to do when it's sitting on a device instead of my shelf 😏)... I read all the genres, but I guess my favorite horror novel was Boys in the Valley by Philip Fracassi. If you like religious/possession horror, I highly recommend it👍
I have Boys in the Valley (I have 95% of the Tor Nightfire books), but haven't read it yet. Maybe I will move it up on the pile. I always forget that I have digital books.
What a GREAT video! Really enjoyed this (I love how many books we both loved enough to put them in our top tens this year!). Naturally, I now have to get all the books you mentioned that I haven’t yet read 😂
I love hearing everyone's favorites of the year. I also liked Black Sheep quite a bit. Full Immersion and Black Mouth are books I own and are moving higher in priority tbr.
I love top ten videos and I couldn't wait to see what you would have on your list. I started this year finishing The Howling Trilogy omnibus by Gary Brandner. I loved them. Holly by Stephen King was one of my favorites. The Light At The End and The Cleanup both by John Skipp and Craig Spector are two of my favorites that I read this year. The Howling Man by Charles Beaumont. Behind Her Eyes by Sarah Pinborough. DMV by Bentley Little. Spook: Science Tackles The Afterlife by Mary Roach. Rummies by Peter Benchley. Outsmarting The Sociopath Next Door by Martha Stout Ph.D. But my favorite book of this year was Blood Standard by Laird Barron. It's the first Isaiah Coleridge novel and I'm currently reading the second one.
I loved Holly. Behind Her Eyes and DMV were both great. I might have Spook. I have a couple of her books, but I'm not sure which ones. (Spook and Stiff, I think.) The Light At The End and The Cleanup are both all time favorites, that I need to reread. I definitely want to check out the Isaiah Coleridge books. They are on the list. The long, long list.

You've read six of these. Holy cow!

It seems like everytime I see a book video, I rearrange my tbr pile.
