About the yogurt. According to fellow You Tuber Mike Chen (Simply Dumpling), who eats hot pot (with additional Chinese hot oil) all the time on his channel, drink a yogurt drink before you eat to "coat your stomach". Of course, that is not going to help what is going on in your mouth.

I live around the corner from this place and went in to try it out. I ordered a spicy roll the guy said he recommended I start with the #1 and if I'm brave the #2. I laughed and was like to right I'll take a #3. Regret. I have no idea how people eat the #10. I love spicy food but that was rough.
As a lover of both sushi and very spicy food, I have very little respect for this restaurant and how they went about the challenge. Sushi should be able to be consumed in one bite, the no restroom rule is idiotic, and the $100 cleanup fee is also stupid. They should provide you with a trash can. The rules were clearly designed by a restaurant who doesn’t give a crap about their customers. And having to wait 30 minutes is obnoxious.
You bring up some interesting points. Honestly the challenge falls into the "no fun" category and they really don't seem to be that into it when you do it.
Having a hard time believing those are not exaggerated hiccups. I love Ultra Spicy foods and I get hiccups and have seen others get hiccups and never have i seen them that exaggerated.
