Looking good, ya those big kites turn so slow. But good job on the downloop.👍
Nice Mike! 17m is a lot of kite to handle in 23 knots! I have to laugh at the slow kite comments.... My big ones are a 21 and an 18 :D Talk about session savers in the summer... but over 15 knots I really want to be switching kites. You're looking so much more confident! Take a look at some of your early vids where you see a kite coming at you and you drop into the water :D I've felt the exact same progression. Keep up the good work!
Would you advise to start learning kiteboarding around October and November? I just moved to the LA area and I'm dying to get started, but I don't know if I should wait until March instead.
At your weight you need to get a foil board for light wind days. Its more fun to foil in light winds with a smaller kite than a blimp with a surfboard. I much prefer a surfboard but the foil is fun when its light.
I have one but some of the areas I kite I can't foil if I have issues
Nice one! That’s a nice giant kite to have. Every video you’re better than the last! Perhaps it’s time for some mega jumps?
Are the kite schools open here now?
Thanks, I have done a few baby jumps! I dont want to get hurt! 🚑
Yes the kite schools are open!
