I like this intro better than just showing clips of what we’re about to see 3-6-10 is my least favorite spare because it should be so easy, but you will find every possible way to miss it. Also, hahahahahahaha the direct look at JR😂😂😂
Congratulations on the draft! Love the challenge videos- keep them coming. I personally hate the 2-8-10 as a righty, although 3-6-10 just feels worse since it is so much more doable.
Quick history you should have added it is all according to where you live, that saying of Brooklyn started in New Jersey, and for bowlers like myself who lived on the Island, Long Island, we called them Jersey shots. This was due to that you had to cross over the bridge to get to either destination from the other.
Just looked it up and it is not 9 degrees 🤣 think after all the math involved with diameter of the top of the pin and bottom and all that it's around 15 degree tilt maybe?
It's funny that I yelled out 8° right before you did in the video. I just switched to two-handed and I just bought but haven't drilled a new spare ball. I got to radical the spy.
My least favorite spare is the 7 pin--and I'm right handed! BTW--I lost a DougieeVision match when my opponent went Brooklyn (or Jersey as we say in NY) three times.
I’ve been bowling since ‘66. As the pins get worn on the bottom, that angle decreases. But from my early beginnings as a junior bowler workin with a great coach, the late Bob Blackley in Sacramento who had me averaging in the 190s when I was 18, he told those of us he worked with in depth, the lean angle for a pin to fall is only 7°-7.5° And my least favorite spare is the Greek Church, 4-6-7-9-10. I did pick it up once in ‘89 by sliding the 4 into the 9-10 and it then rolled forward to take out the 6.
My goal in life is to one day throw a Brooklyn 300. In high school I bowled in a center that frequently didn't oil properly and sometimes it was easier to consistently hit a Brooklyn than to hit the pocket. I think the most I got was 6 in a row.
I got here searching full time Brooklyn lol. Last week I could not throw the pocket consistently but Brooklyn easy. I'm like anyone do this intentionally "professionally"?
Pretty sure Brooklyn only was my challlenge!! Glad to see y’all did it!! Guess my challenge was to try to get a 300 only Brooklyn!! That would be seeet
Already liked already subscribed lol. It's Packy, automatic thumbs up. I wonder what you could do with the original Brunswick Fury, given your fondness for the Torq. 3-10 is my least favorite spare (right handed). Add the degree to your messenger sent graphic shirt. Need To Know Facts says a pin only needs to hit 7.5 degrees in order to fall lol. At the end, all the cool kids give it back (gentlemen allowing the lady to win lol)
In high school we'd leave 10 pins so much that we would say fucking ten pin. But you can't swear during matches so we swapped the letters and said tucking fen pin. I still say it to this day
I'm a righty 2 handed bowler and I would hate to shoot at a 3-9 since that means I crossed over and now have to hit a double wood on the right side of the lane doesn't happen often though
The 2-5 is probably my least favorite. I hate everything left of the headpin, which as a right hander may not be that common, but I've hooked at all my left side spares all my life, but since I recently started throwing on sport shot I realized how useless that was.
Double wood (3-9 for me) is probably my least favorite, because I don't like hooking at any spares, and for this one I basically have to. I tend to get way too soft or send it too wide (I'm a bowler who alternates from no thumb to thumb).
I bowled in a 5 man tournament many years ago , and yes I'm a lefty , one game I started hitting the brooklyn side and was striking went the front 6 or 7 , totally pissed this guy off on the other team " aren't you going to adjust to the pocket " he shouted at me .... I said " No why should I they are all falling over " I think the next shot went longer and left the 7 pin ! If it's working why change .
I bowl duckpins so my least favorite spare to make in the 10th is the 1-9. If you go slightly right of the object pin, you’ll only get 1. Same thing if you go the opposite way. Most of the time you have to get a lucky wall bounce.
C. Barnes said after loosing to K.K. that he always loses to his wife, so didnt feel that weird after the match was over. You can certainly join that club now :) Go Madison!
I approve. Nothing wrong with a timely Brooklyn. 😘
😂❤️
The JR Raymond references are hilarious!!
I like the digs, JR is a cool cat as well
congrats on being drafted to a team Packy. Good luck in the PBA league. My least favorite spare is the 10 pin or the 3-6-9-10. Hate those spares
I like this intro better than just showing clips of what we’re about to see
3-6-10 is my least favorite spare because it should be so easy, but you will find every possible way to miss it.
Also, hahahahahahaha the direct look at JR😂😂😂
Madison is what makes the channel the best. Off season vids are what make the channel.
So it looks like a pin only needs to lean 7.5 degrees to fall over lol
Okay so I did see it in my dreams as a total made up fact 😂😂
Congratulations on the draft! Love the challenge videos- keep them coming. I personally hate the 2-8-10 as a righty, although 3-6-10 just feels worse since it is so much more doable.
Haha awesome, I wanted to see a Brooklyn only challenge!
The House sure had draft success, have fun out there you all! Looking forward to it!
I love how hes just so depressed for the outro its so funny i dont know why 🤣
Wow I love it. I'm glad I suggested it.
Yes, an 8 degrees pin shirt would be amazing!
C'maaaaaahhnnnn! I dig it when Packy says this!
That JR Raymond shout out was classic

I’m not even a bowler, but I find myself so entertained by this channel.
Awesome seeing you picked 3rd in the PBA League draft!
"you're up, buster" is devastating
Is it sad that it made me happy when Packy missed that last spare 😂 Also a 10 pin is literally my worst enemy so
10 pin is also my worst enemy!🤬🤬🤬
It's everyone who is right handed and high rev's worst enemy.
@@mjmmusser facts lol
At 9 pin no tap is unfair you don’t need the 10 pin to fall
Great editing!
Love you Packy always enjoy watching and yes to the shirts! 8 degrees!
Just looked it up and it is not 9 degrees 🤣 think after all the math involved with diameter of the top of the pin and bottom and all that it's around 15 degree tilt maybe?
Congrats on getting a spot in the Portland Lumberjacks, Packy. See you at Bayside Bowl in July! Can't wait! 😃
It's funny that I yelled out 8° right before you did in the video.
I just switched to two-handed and I just bought but haven't drilled a new spare ball. I got to radical the spy.
Packy...
A bowling pin only needs to tilt by 7.5 degrees before it will fall over.
Hope this was helpful!
I searched for this comment! Lol.
Me too. Knew it would be here.
I saw JR yesterday. I told him you’re talking smack 🤣🤣 Y’all both my boys
Hell yeah 8 degrees of Packy, let's go!
Yes on the 8 degrees shirts💯
My least favorite spare is the 7 pin--and I'm right handed! BTW--I lost a DougieeVision match when my opponent went Brooklyn (or Jersey as we say in NY) three times.
Congrats on the draft selection.🎉🎉🎉
The JR Raymond call out had me dying

Yes I will buy that 8 degrees shirt
The bucket, the 3-5-6-9. That's the spare that kills me.
My goal in life is to one day throw a Brooklyn 300. In high school I bowled in a center that frequently didn't oil properly and sometimes it was easier to consistently hit a Brooklyn than to hit the pocket. I think the most I got was 6 in a row.

3,6,9,10 mine too
Dang, the silence in that bowling alley is LOUD
Definitely those sleepers for me... absolutely hate those spares, haha
The 10 pin as a righty.. I can pick it up unless I need to. I psych myself out.
Already liked already subscribed lol. It's Packy, automatic thumbs up. So my question... How hard is it to go brooklyn with the ramp to the pocket on the left side? Lmao
4,6,7,9, 10. Got it twice yesterday, pins didn’t want to love me.
7 pin I’m over it 😂😂
Since we live in the Detroit area, we used to call it a Hamtramck
You would think Packy would be used to hearing Madison say "Oh my god!" by now
Packy won the girlfriend lottery.
I would buy that 8 degrees shirt :)
I hope you jumped on the t-shirt idea...cause someone will...great idea
No offense, Packy, but I was pulling for Madison!
Congrats Packy on being drafted by Portland. All the best brah!
Nice job Madison way to go and nice to u to packy
That damn 7 pin!
Video title should have been "The J.R. Raymond Challenge" lol
i absolutely need that shirt, thats such a genius idea
Backdoor strike challenge next lol
As somewhat of a beginner bowler, I'd say my least favorite is the 10 pin. Also I'm learning the hook more, so that would be why. Lol
In high school we'd leave 10 pins so much that we would say fucking ten pin. But you can't swear during matches so we swapped the letters and said tucking fen pin. I still say it to this day
Next challenge, can you bowl a 300 Brooklyn only?
I'm a righty 2 handed bowler and I would hate to shoot at a 3-9 since that means I crossed over and now have to hit a double wood on the right side of the lane doesn't happen often though
Definitely the 10 pin.
7.5 degrees - right?
10 pin... Hitting like 40%
10PIN !!
Would definitely buy that shirt 10:07
as a one handed righty, my least favorite is either a 7 pin or a 5 pin. I always find a way to leave those open and embarrass myself.
I bowled with madison in tough shots tour in nc and she has come a long way! Shes an amazing bowler!!
We need that shirt idea pack
7.5 degrees of tilt has been the requirement to fall over for decades.
The 2-5 is probably my least favorite. I hate everything left of the headpin, which as a right hander may not be that common, but I've hooked at all my left side spares all my life, but since I recently started throwing on sport shot I realized how useless that was.
10 pin. It’s the bane of my existence.
What's the difference between verge pearl and damn good verge pearl?
Any single pin spare, because I feel like an idiot when I miss 😭🤪
Double wood (3-9 for me) is probably my least favorite, because I don't like hooking at any spares, and for this one I basically have to. I tend to get way too soft or send it too wide (I'm a bowler who alternates from no thumb to thumb).
I normally Brooklyn my shots for some reason 😂 i like to call myself the king of Brooklyn when i get on a streak of them
How do you get to bowl in an empty bowling alley. You cool with the owner or have to pay a fee?
As someone who's as amateur as it gets, my least favorite spare is all of them, because I only pick up a spare about 10% of the time, lol.
I mean I loath it when I wrap the 10 pin, but I’m getting pretty good at getting them lol
4 6 split. I've only picked it up once. Non split anything back row lol
The worse shot in the 10th to win may be all of the pins if you gutter ball 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Also the tilt Angle for a bowling pin to fall is is 7.5. Not an expert tho
My step-dad likes to say, there is no such thing as an easy spare shot.
2-4-7 or 3-6-10, if I hit the front pin I usually get 2, but if 1 pin is there I get the spare?
There's a bowling alley in Brooklyn, called Brooklyn Bowl. I thought you were bowling there. Concert venue + bowling. What's not to like?
4-8 as a righty. Impossible not to chop.
Left side bucket
A bowling pin only requires 7.5 degrees of tilt in order to fall over
There's other factors involved
I bowled in a 5 man tournament many years ago , and yes I'm a lefty , one game I started hitting the brooklyn side and was striking went the front 6 or 7 , totally pissed this guy off on the other team " aren't you going to adjust to the pocket " he shouted at me .... I said " No why should I they are all falling over " I think the next shot went longer and left the 7 pin ! If it's working why change .
3,6,9,10 or 3,6,10 hands down
Bo Burton would talk about the nine degrees all the time during the professional bowlers tour telecast. Maybe that is where you heard it.
Good Ol' Power Torque-rahan
any spare only stikes
My least favorite spare is a solid 10 pin
This is hilarious because 90% of my strikes are Brooklyn strikes
Least favorite spare is always double wood....my mortal enemy
Ive left the 1 pin many times before... thats one spare i kinda dont wanna have to get lol
I bowl duckpins so my least favorite spare to make in the 10th is the 1-9. If you go slightly right of the object pin, you’ll only get 1. Same thing if you go the opposite way. Most of the time you have to get a lucky wall bounce.
Cool video talk to tech bowling the house bowling packey
Please make that shirt! I would definitely buy it
Idea secured design pending!
Where can I buy an 8 degrees shirt with the leaning pin. That would be fire!!!
Any split since we didn't mention if they were makeable spares to shoot at or not. I hate shooting at washouts for makeables
Can't expect to win a brooklyn match with a sharp entry angle
Or missed spares!😂😂
C. Barnes said after loosing to K.K. that he always loses to his wife, so didnt feel that weird after the match was over. You can certainly join that club now :) Go Madison!
