He'd challenge me to see who could run up and down the apartment stairs (I was overweight at the time, so it was indirect attack on my weight). 2. He'd rant about how he defended himself in court against the teamster's 30 years ago, thus he was so smart. 3. If he was really drinking and angry, he'd say I need to be responsible (which made zero sense since I never missed a payment on anything and was the only one with a full time job). Just anything he could say to belittle me was used in hilarious fashion. I'm not even highly successful or anything, I just had my head on straight compared to him and half his age.

I can relate to this, I have a 50 year old uncle who's unsuccesful in life, finacially, in his love life. Who still lives in Morocco. I think part of our parents biggest nightmare is realizing our worth and all the bad things they did to us. Me personally, I love that fear. I can relate to this, I have a 50 year old uncle who's unsuccesful in life, finacially, in his love life. Who still lives in Morocco. I always felt sorry and sent him money from time to time, and when I stopped the flow of money because I have to think about myself 1st. He lashed at me with a bruised ego. I'm 20 years younger and at a level he will never reach. Still with a lot of potential to explore to go even higher. Jaleaous envious family members who are hoping for your downfall and try to suck you out of money like a parasites make me sick.
My stepmom be the same way, growing up, I didn’t really have stuff and couldn’t do many things other kids could. Now I’m all grown up (20 years old now) and got it going good for myself and in college getting ready to be done next year. Now she watches me on social media and see how things are going uphill for me, she just watches me but yet likes and talks to her kids and niece and nephews but not me. Like she preying on a downfall for me. I ain’t giving up on nun, that’s for sure 😂

When I go to the old country morroco, I wear the best clothes, the best shoes, drive the best car, having stacks of Dirhams (our currency). I love the hate I get for that, that means you really get under their skins lol. But not everybody is like that. Some family members want me to succeed and bear no grudge. And they don't leach on me. Those are the people one must cherish. The ones who want you to succeed.

Lending a helping hand to your children or family members who are struggling should not, and should never, be seen as failure. It's just that the opposite of that, having the next generation be more succesful, should not be a reason for spite, unless said success was achieved maliciously.
