Prey 2017 with combat gameplay. Nightmare difficulty with a few exceptions played on hard (couldn't reproduce certain scenes on nightmare).

Alright. This might genuinely be the best prey vid I've ever watched. Truly some StealthGamerBR level of badassery and humour. Great content. And Qbeam Alex was the cherry on top.
Thanks for this amazing comment! I actually studied some of the master's Dishonored videos to see if I could copy some cool stuff (the kill from 6:47 to 6:50 would be an example), but I think there's a reason why he didn't create any Prey content. The game is simply missing human enemies imo. There are too few areas with enough typhons to create a StealthGamerBR like flow. So I tried to show gameplay mechanics, advanced combat tactics, achievements and some funny scenes. Maybe the video got two scenes too long, but I wanted it and its complementary stealth video to be 13:37 minutes long. One thing I wish I had done was to mimic the engineering operator in 2:26, fly to the next room and burn the Phantom there. That would have been hilarious.
Prey might be the most underrated video game ever. People should talk about it more, play it more...
Underrated, overlooked and way too soon forgotten. It also was the last Arkane title with Raphaël Colantonio as creative director. That's why I'm really glad that so many people watch my Prey content and still talk about or even play the game! And I certainly won't stop posting Prey videos. There's still a lot of things I want to show!
@@Jay_Alfred I also think Prey would be a great first game for someone who wants to get into video games, someone who never played mario or any shooter or anything. Its a complete experience and so engaging. My first real game that got me hooked on video games was Ocarina of Time, so Im definitely not complaining, but I wonder how much fun it would have been to play Prey when I was younger.
The only game I want a sequel more than Prey is Bloodborne... Prey 2 would have my money on pre launch

8:18 okay when I first saw this game I compared it to Metroid Fusion due to it being set on a Space Station full of shape shifting aliens, I didn't expect anyone to actually go full on Metroid on this game!
amazing video, also started to think - Apex's arrival means they got the radio signal, means blowing up the station and destroying the knowledge about the research would leave humanity unprapered for the upcoming Typhon invasion

Yes, that's a hidden room in Psychotronics. It's where Alex tells you to install typhon mods. You can access the room via the computer there.

I would like to do an only typhon walkthrough but the lack of good skills like hack and repair turns me off.
The beginning is (a bit) harder, but as soon as you get Phantom Shift (II) and some attacking powers you're pretty much untouchable. Especially with Backlash III. And don't forget to undeploy the turrets.
How did you get the psychoscope so early? I thought it was found later on?

I understand. It is too late in this game to get a "Psychoscope". So they shortened the time to get the ability by using "mods" right?
In fact, Morgan cannot use his ability until he breaks into the "Psychotronics". This is why the early part of Prey is terribly boring and "hell". Also, the neuromod manufacturing has to be "shortcut" as well😂
New Game Plus: psychoscope can be found in your office :) btw you can chill the beginning if you collect one of the two stun guns you find on the way to your office.
Manufacturing can be shortcuted: Just upgrade hacking asap and go back to the neuromod division. You can reset the plan and are good to go before entering hardware labs ;)

Wait, you can mimic a functioning turret?!
Yes! Or try to mimic one of the operators. They are extremly powerful. You can fly around the Arboretum and stun kill everything with a science or medical operator :)

how many takes and hours did this take? or how long have you played. this is amazing.
The content was recorded over several months but not with the idea of making a video out of it. I just saved some cool moments until I had so much material that I thought I could put them together and tell a little story about the dark side of Morgan (the recordings). All I had to do was adding some scenes with powers I normally don't use and cover the remaining (combat) achievements.
