I think that outlet is a 12 Vdc outlet because his contraption will still let DC go through.
Purpose of using 1N5399 diode, instead of 1N4007,..pl reply...
It will work as a DC power supply but I’m pretty sure just gonna turn out to 220Vac to 180 Vdc.

It was a black box at the corner of the screen at a point in the video that he just took his hand and moved it out of frame, and I feel like that’s a power supply.
Instead of 1N4007 ,why used1N5399 diodes ? Pl clarify...
