This is the first full bracelet that I’ve completed, since I usually give up because of boredom, but I’m really proud of this bracelet because it was complex enough to keep me entertained and motivated.
Just amazing tutorial!! I have basically no experience with making friendship bracelets, but this video left no open questions and I easily made this one :D Thank you so much!
OMG this is so cute! I’m so going to make this soon!! Your videos are great and really easy to understand for me so well done and keep up the good work! 😄😄
Great video!! ive been trying to do bracelet pattern #27442 i was maybe wondering if you could do a tutorial on that because my friends b-day is coming and she LOVES the pattern. Thank you so much if you can! (btw i LOVE this tutorial! defiantly trying it :)
XxWolfieEditzxX Thank you! Happy early birthday to your friend! I haven’t given much thought to making alpha tutorials so I can’t guarantee I’ll make it, but I’ll consider it! In the meantime, Masha Knots has great videos on all things alphas!
I've been avoiding this pattern for so long because I though I would have to do it row-by-row, but segment knotting is so much easier, regardless of the bumpy sides. Thank you for making this so easy :)
Unfortunately bumpy edges are unavoidable in some patterns, but I don’t really like using the straight edges technique on normal patterns so I just tell myself to deal with it. 😅 Thank you for watching!
@@Craftanatic I really don't mind the bumpy edges. And the straight edges technique seems confusing for normal patterns, I wouldn't be able to keep track of what goes where, I only use it in alphas 😂
I absolutely loved this pattern! It was easier than it looked, I used some warm colours instead of a rainbow, and it looked sooo cute! Thank you so much!
New subscriber!Your videos are the best and really easy to make you make the instructions real easy thank you!!!👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🤗🤗🤗And you deserve more subscribers and views!!!😽
I love this bracelet its so cute!! I'm definetly going to make this soon. I just found your channel and your voice is so relaxed and makes your video so easy to understand!!
When you segment knot a plaid pattern you need to have a very strong holding strings and have them straight then it is faster and straight and I do it by segments so at first the sides and then I do the middle and the string you make your knot onto has to be tension every time. When you think there is a bigger distance between two strings than the others pull the string through the 4 twice and then do the second part of the knot then you can make it more even and have the distance the same
conni I had tried to segment knot a different pattern (that I showed in the video) and it turned out really bumpy, but I agree that tension is generally SUPER important in all friendship bracelet patterns and that could’ve been my problem there.
Adding an extra thread on each side of the pattern (No matter the color because we will not see it at all), and making a backward/forward knot on the left side withe the #2 thread and a backward/forward knot on the right side with the before last thread will make your bracelet right straight 😉
Vedova Florence I tried to do the straight edges technique on a different pattern and wasn’t totally happy with it haha, so there are just things that even more advanced makers need to work on. :P I didn’t talk much about it because Masha Knots has a video all about it.
How did you do the bracelet you showed after the purple plaid one? You said you used a candy stripe method? Can you show how you did that one? I love it! 🙏🏽☺️
Lizzy Bizzy You can do candy stripe method on it and it makes the pattern easier to do! I have the pattern linked in the description box that you can follow. :)
Craftanatic , I know but I have trouble reading patterns so I like visual instructions or written instructions. I make most of my bracelets via tutorials. 😕 Would I just do alternating backward forward knots for every row the entire bracelet? (Like the plaid section of this bracelet) Or is there another way of describing it? Thanks so much!! ☺️
Lizzy Bizzy I can understand that! In the plaid pattern you’re talking about, you can do the candy stripe method and follow the pattern online sort of diagonally if that makes sense? OR you can put all of your strings in pairs of two then do forward knots with those, then you take out the outermost left and right strands and make new pairs then do backward knots with them. And you just repeat that until you build up the pattern!
Hello! 👋🏻 in about five minutes you have completed the first row of colours but have not explained what you do with the colour strands on the right that have not been threaded. Could you please explain? ❤️
This is amazing and very easy steps. Thank you for sharing this tutorial. Btw, Can ask something what you called the yarn that you are using in making the bracelet?
Thank you for your feedback! I use embroidery floss to make friendship bracelets. 🙂 DMC is a very popular and well-known brand but there are also many similar and more affordable brands to choose from.
I finished my bracelet. (Thanks to your lovely tutorial.) However, you don't show how to Finnish the tie ends. I wanted to do triangle ends but it's not working out because this bracelet end has a slant to it. Any Ideas?
kaykay theskeleton I would see if you could find a pattern on Braceletbook or friendship-bracelets.net because sometimes people submit variations to some patterns. I’ve never tried it with an even number and I’m not good at tweaking patterns so I wouldn’t really know :(
i can't do it. I've been trying for a few hours and I can't even get past the first row because my base colour keeps covering the colour that's meant to be showing
If that was your first time making a bracelet of this type try a few easier ones and then you can try this one. Because at first I tried jumping to the advanced stuff too but I ended up failing. Masha knots has some very helpful tutorials for beginners.
Could you make one without the plaid in it and have it the same. If you look up pattern number 4766 rainbow string bracelet it shows the pictures of it but I’m to stupid to figure it out by the picture.
Oooh, you’d actually pretty much just follow it the same way, but instead of the back and forth of the plaid it’s just candy stripes! If that still doesn’t make sense, though, I can consider making a tutorial. :)
Oh that one looks amazing too. Just wish I knew how to read the patterns. I've watched countless videos on how and they confused me more than anything.
You did nothing wrong per se, it’s just the nature of the bracelet because of the knotting structure. If you look closely enough, the bracelets I showed aren’t straight either. Most of the time it’s all in the tension, which takes a while to figure out since all patterns behave so differently.
This is the first full bracelet that I’ve completed, since I usually give up because of boredom, but I’m really proud of this bracelet because it was complex enough to keep me entertained and motivated.

This design is so cool and its a great tutorial! I'm almost done with my bracelet 😊

So cool bracelet🤩
thanks for the tutorial. How do we know how long the strands should be?
Can you pls teach the other two bracelets as they are looking really awesome
You know what. This one looks a bit more interesting than the wave one so ima try it instead! Thx so much! :)
how did it go?? i’m about to try it but i don’t know how time consuming this is! ahhh
How time-consuming a pattern is just depends on how slow or fast you knot. 🙂
When you segment knot a plaid pattern you need to have a very strong holding strings and have them straight then it is faster and straight and I do it by segments so at first the sides and then I do the middle and the string you make your knot onto has to be tension every time. @@Craftanatic but not only the tension of the knotting but the holding strind is important that it is not bumpy additional to the strings on the side

Lizzy Bizzy Awesome! I’m glad I could explain it well! 😊
This is my new fave but I haven’t been able to figure out what you did with your starting tail? I’m trying to find an easy loop start… any ideas?
Thank you so much this is such a cool pattern
Hello! 👋🏻 in about five minutes you have completed the first row of colours but have not explained what you do with the colour strands on the right that have not been threaded. Could you please explain? ❤️

Do you have a tutorial video for the candy stripe bracelet you show (right after the pink/purple two-tone)?
I don't, but the pattern is linked in the description box 😊 if you look at it on a diagonal it's really only one step and very repetitive and easy!
Can you do this with less string so that is thinner?? I didn't know if you had to have an odd number or even.. if that makes sense lol
I haven’t tried it myself, but I think you could as long as you include a black string per color as well!
Wow, prachtig 😻 dit ga ik zeker proberen!
I finished my bracelet. (Thanks to your lovely tutorial.) However, you don't show how to Finnish the tie ends. I wanted to do triangle ends but it's not working out because this bracelet end has a slant to it. Any Ideas?
th-cam.com/video/PQQYqOGk4YU/w-d-xo.html 😊
Can you also make a video on how to make your bracelet’s sides more straight than wavy?
Masha Knots has a straight edges tutorial already but I don’t use that technique. My straight knotting just came with years of practice.
@@Craftanatic Oh Tysm
Hi! I'm wondering if there is a pattern where I can use 10-12 strings without it being so thick?
Love it! Thanks.
Hi, could you pls tell me the name of the bracelet u were wearing while making this video? It looks AMAZING and I rly wanna make it

Can you by any chance make a variation of the colors you used? If you don’t want to, it’s fine. Thanks!
Hey I have a question can you do the pattern with even number strings I've tried with 4 and 4 but it's not really working
kaykay theskeleton I would see if you could find a pattern on Braceletbook or friendship-bracelets.net because sometimes people submit variations to some patterns. I’ve never tried it with an even number and I’m not good at tweaking patterns so I wouldn’t really know :(
im trying to do the bracelet and its coming out as 2 separate ones . the colored strings as one and the white strings as one
It worked for me if I were you I would watch the video before making the bracelet then try to make it again
i can't do it. I've been trying for a few hours and I can't even get past the first row because my base colour keeps covering the colour that's meant to be showing

قمة الأبداع 😍😍😍😍
Is the black row that you knot from right to left backwards knots? Or towards still?
Rex Which part are you mentioning? All black strings go from left to right with forward knots, even in that plaid section.
How did you do the tail at the end???
Please mention Which pattern is on your hand bracelet while doing this work

Why did my bracelet became a wavy shape ? 😢 Colored parts looks bigger than black ones i think i did someting wrong but idk what 😢

What is this pattern on bracelet book? 3:04
ive been in an alpha kick lately and needed a regular pattern to do.
Hope you like this pattern! 😁 Thank you for watching!
sameeee i love alpha bracelets and i cannot read normal patterns 😅
What type of string do you use?
Your Emo Dad DMC embroidery floss
Craftanatic thank you very much 😊
What kind of thread or yarn do you use for this?
Embroidery floss
what if i use 6 colors and 6 black is that ok?
As long as you follow the steps pretty similarly I think it could work out just fine. 🤔
Is is 35- 40 iches each
Buenas tardes, hermoso tu trabajo, podrias poner las medidas en español? Gracias

Literally u should sell these
I typically say no but I’ve been going back and forth on the idea for years now 😅
What kind of string are you using? Because I use the friendship bracelet material and it is too thin and frays really easily
I mostly use DMC embroidery floss
3.30 its not straight bEcaUse It'S gAY ehehehehe
I couldn't see what u were doing
Hola hermosa pulsera me aria el favor de mandarme el patrón gracia para inñrimirlo
Can it be done with 6 black and 6 rainbow instead of 7?
You’d have to tweak the pattern a bit but it’s doable. #35979 on BB shows how you would go about the plaid section pretty well!
