I forgot to mention - with this, as with the regular chevron, you can use as many colours as you like. The number of background strings has to match the number or colour strings. So I used 1 string per colour with a total of 4 colour strings (which were then folded in the loop, making 8) And I also had 4 black strings (folded making 8) But, as I said, you can do more or less if you want to
they're lovely but also i find it so impressive that you've made so many of them! i usually get bored with a pattern after one or two and start something completely different.
omg I am so happy you came out with this. thank you. I'm working on one of the ones you did right now, the solar system one. everyone loves them and your tutorials are so helpful and amazing. I love doing these and you've helped me do things outside of my comfort zone!
Notes for me \0/ 4 black strings each side, 8 in total 1 other-color-string-A each side, 2 in total 1 other-color-string-B each side, 2 in total 1 other-color-string-C each side, 2 in total 1 other-color-string-D each side, 2 in total Starting with the teardrop loop @2:26 Starting with the knotting (chevron) @5:09 Starting with the knotting (polkadot) @8:08
I have been looking for a tutorial of this pattern for the longest time and I'm so glad I found it! 125104 was the actual pattern I was looking for but this is pretty much the same but smaller. Great tutorial!
*At the beginning* Her "i made one for each color of the rainbow" Me "DO YOU EVEN RAINBOW. YA FORGOT ORANGE This is the most likes ive ever had thank you so much😂😂
I broke my brain yesterday trying to start a diamond pattern after doing two chevrons, this looks much easier to do and gives some alternation, thank you for sharing!
Hey Masha! Do your hands ever get sore after making all these bracelets? If ever, what's your min/max number of bracelets to make before you stop? Also do you have any tips to lessen/avoid/stop the soreness? Thanks!
The same thing happens to me! My finger gets sore from pulling on the string but my hands don't really get sore. If you're like me and your finger gets sore, I recommend having a stash of band aids and putting it on your finger. Hope this helps!
sorry for the late reply, but that happened to me when i first started making bracelets, but with time it slowly stopped. its all about time and practice. i now sell my bracelets, and i can crank out about 3 or 4 in like 2 hours without getting tired!
Just some feedback, could you make the color of the strings different than the surface you're working on, because I was having trouble seeing the black strings.
Wow!! This is an amazing pattern!! Now I feel like making my own collection of this pattern!! Thank you so much for the tutorial!! Also I just wanted to ask if you could make a tutorial on pattern #260 from braceletbook because all the strings are of a different colour and overall theres are 15 strings..so I am not able to figure out how to make a loop because of that. Hope you have a nice day!!😊
4th time WILL be the charm! 1st attempt. my string count was wrong and my tear drop loop was bad. 2nd arremp. strings right, bad tear drop. 3rd. Tear drip good. I messed up the row. Tried to undo a knot then my cat got a hold of the strings. 4th attempt. Perfect tear drop.. rows looking good! First section of chevron done! Now to polkadot. I hope I don't run out of string!
Hey💕 loved the tutorial, it was super helpful so thank you so much!! This isn’t really related to this video but I just wanted to ask about the bracelet you made for your mum while she was here, did you use the straight edges method by any chance?
Hi, i love this pattern, but i always get bored when i make bracelets with these amount of strings. Do you think it would be possible to do this with a less amount of strings?
i love this pattern and am making it right now with a loop beginning! how do you tie the bracelet around your arm with a loop beginning though? i usually use just strings on both sides and never use loop beginnings so now i dont know how to even tie it closed, maybe you acould make a video on how to tie different kinds of bracelets another day! :)
@@MashaKnots oh man, there i thought i wouldn't need a beginners guide because i've done bracelets since i was young, I'm such a dbass, thanks a lot! :D
I always just wing it if you have extra masha has a video on use your extra string check her bracelet tutorials playlist it's called the rag rug bracelet
Umm how do you tie them? Like I mean do you just do a normal knot at the end?(I mean like the first knot you do when your tieing your shoes) Are they ajustable? Sorry I asked to many questions
Wait how long do each string has to be for this bracelet? How do you know how long do strings have to be for each bracelet you make? Where are the measurements?

Omg! This bracelet looks so pretty and complicated but it's really so much easier than I thought thank you I'm obsessed with this pattern!

Hi from brazilll 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I started watching his channel these days, and I loved him so much
Sorry for the errors 💗
Hi :) welcome!
Nice pattern, I've never made it. The five different ones you made look so great together.
I have all my strings laid out and ready!! Can't wait to get started! I'm assuming it will take me around 5 hours, lol.
Hey Masha!
Do your hands ever get sore after making all these bracelets? If ever, what's your min/max number of bracelets to make before you stop? Also do you have any tips to lessen/avoid/stop the soreness?
Thanks!
Maybe put lotions on your hands that are soothing before and after you start knoting

Yay. These are such charming patterns
Hey Masha, I was wondering how you do that spiral knot at the end of your bracelet. It looks super cool and I want to try it out!
Oscar The Doggo check out her twisted ties tutorial
She actually made a tutorial on it. I watched it and it helped. Try and find it. Good luck on your spiral end!!
Samanta V thank you so much! 🙂
Samanta V thanks again I just found it, it was called twisted ties
I've been so excited for this bracelet and now the tutorial is out!!

You inspire me ❤️ I hope I will be as good as you one day!
That makes me really happy to hear ❤️
Masha Knots omggg she replied ❤️❤️❤️❤️😱😱😱
I can’t wait to make this! I have to wait until I can go out and get more string though
:OOOOOOOOO so simple yet beautiful im amazed
Thank you so much for that tip in the beginning!! Much needed.
Thank you so much I was looking for someone to do this pattern💝💕
I love this pattern it so pretty and i just did a chainlink candy stripe
doge queens ha same as I.
Hi, How long did you use the threads? 😊
Those bracelets are so pretty

To make a loop, you have to have an even number of each color that the bracelet requires. Therefore, you can't start #260 with a loop.
I really like this bracelet it really simple and easy to do
4th time WILL be the charm! 1st attempt. my string count was wrong and my tear drop loop was bad. 2nd arremp. strings right, bad tear drop. 3rd. Tear drip good. I messed up the row. Tried to undo a knot then my cat got a hold of the strings.

I’m glad you liked the video! And yes, I did :)
Thank you so much!!💕
This was wayyy easier then I thought it would be
I really want to try this pattern but I always have issues with colors in the right order!! But it's a cute pattern !
This is so cool!
For some you made it more confusing for me but when I went onto bracelet book it was really easy
So pretty
Gorgeous 👍

i saved this pattern on bracelet book 😁
Can you do the same thing to make each Harry Potter house color wise?
You forgot orange in the rainbow 🍊 🧡🧡
If we use 5 colours do we have to take 5 black strings????
Your amazing 😉
How would you recommend measuring string? I always seem to have too much or too little so I'm curious if you have any tips. Thanks!
Check out my beginners guide 😉
How long do you cut your stings for the bracelets? I usually cut mine too short about how long should i cut the string
I always just wing it if you have extra masha has a video on use your extra string check her bracelet tutorials playlist it's called the rag rug bracelet
Presley Bohlmann do you do that and then fold it in half to make to loop?
A suggestion that would help me is if you showed how many strings you use and what order they need to be in
You can check out the pattern on Braceletbook and count the strings, or you can just look closely at the video and count the strings that she has.
You should have an etsy shop I think you would been do well
you know whats really useful in a friendship bracelet tutorial? how mamy strings of each color like idk what it is about them they just help so much
Were you using yarn for white...? It appeared thicker than others...
ily
Bracelet starts at 3:44 :)
Quick question, how long is the string? Just want to get a number around it. My string is basically the same thickness.
Alice's Storytime id say a safe bet is per string around4-5 feet each
@@knotsahoy3291 ok thanks!
Knots Ahoy is that for if you fold it he strings in half??
Umm how do you tie them? Like I mean do you just do a normal knot at the end?(I mean like the first knot you do when your tieing your shoes) Are they ajustable?
Sorry I asked to many questions
Hi! You should watch my beginners guide (it’s linked in the description). I demonstrate there

So simple yet looks hard to make. While you do Chevron, I will do candy stripe version of it
Yeah, that would look awesome too!
3:44 to start making bracelet! 😊
Hi Masha. May i ask about the length of the strings please. Thaank you
~2m when unfolded. Check out my beginners guide on more info regarding string length
Can u tell me How long is each string? ❤
I really wish patterns would have the loop as well. I just don't understand how the loop goes into the pattern without seeing it done all the way.
I did the whole bracelet before you posted this WHYYYYYYYYY
Love this
What length of strings would you suggest?
Joanna Smiler a safe bet is your wingspan. From finger tip to finger tip. And that’s it
Thank you for your video tutorial,...

@@MashaKnots Thanks so much
How many strings do you need for this bracelet
Can I please have help on how to start the bracelet
Do we always have to do the teardrop because I am not good with the teardrops
No
Your choice
you don't have to, but it's definitely a fun and easy technique, so I'd check out her loop videos, if you need some more info.
What about orange? You still need to do one more color.
The yellow has orange and yellow😐
When I do the polka dot section my knots keep ‘flipping’. Any suggestions to prevent this?
You could be pulling to hard on your string when you tighten them you also wanna hold the string your tying you not to.
