WOAH! Finally! I've been eager to learn Spanish, but I'm not really into books. I prefer to learn new languages via film. most language lesson videos I found before this channel more like teaching words by words, or sentences by sentences. like in a language course. they didn't hooked me. this channel presented the lesson as if it's a short film (hence conversational). which I like! thanks guys! anyway, anyone here knows, is there any way to display 2 subs at once? it doesn't have to literally displaying 2 subs, but something like that. like, I need to read both the Spanish words and the translation to my native language to compare and learn

Excellent question! In this case, the "se" is not reflexive. The verb is a "norma"l with a direct object (fotos) and an indirect object (a mi mamá). "Se" is the indirect pronoun (to her) that agrees with "a mi mamá" That pronoun is usually "le "(to him, to her, to you - formal), but it is hard to say "le las" so when you have two words that start with the letter "l", the indirect pronoun changes to "se" Examples: Give me them (the books). Dámelos. (No need to change "me") Give her them (the books). Dáselos (a ella). (The pronoun le changed to se) He read it (the story) to us. Nos lo leyó (a nosotros). (No need to change nos). He read the story to them. Se lo leyó (a ellos). (les changed to se). In these structures, the phrase with "a" - a ella, a nosotros - is optional and used to clarify or for emphasis. The pronoun is not optional. If you use the a + noun/pronoun phrase, you must also include the pronoun. It takes a little practice and you'll be understood if you forget, but it's super common so you'll hear it a lot and get the hang of it. Hope that helps!

Pamela was saying "mandarselas a mi mamá" because saying "mandarlelas a mi mamá" would be unnatural and gramatically incorrect in the Spanish laguage. So that meant a kind of "Send-(to)-Her-Them".
