I love my z105mc but find myself gravitating towards my z70-200 2.8 more, used with the 2x teleconverter and nisi closeup optic for macro. So versatile in having a great nature landscape and subject lens plus macro and short range wild life
I now mainly shoot with the OM1 so the 12mm-100mm f4 IS PRO (equivalent 24-200) not only gives the versatility of the 70-200 but you also have that of the 24-70 in a single image stabilised (lens+camera) in one package. If I’m travelling with just one lens this one does it all superbly.
Agree with all of this, everything looks good at 200mm. 70-200 GM2 and 35 GM is all I really need. The improvement in upscaling images in Lightroom has made it more viable for wildlife too IMO.
Your comment about it forcing you to be selective of your subject is 100% accurate and I have never stopped to look at it that way, but alas, it’s true.
I bought my 70-200 f4 from burgess hill last week, Jamie was super helpful in my decision making as i was spending too much time online reading reviews and I thought it would be best to see them for myself.
once again a very good tutorial i have the mk2 i have not used it as much as i should now with my canon1DX MK111 which i purchased from Park thank you as allways for the excelent advice
I played with 18-135mm, 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, and 70-200mm. My 2 go-to lenses are 35mm f1.8 prime and 70-200mm f2.8 GM ii. I can film any event with these two lenses. However, when it comes to the after party, my 24mm f1.4 GM is a masterpiece of a lens. The shots I get with that lens look super expensive. That's the best way I can describe it...expensive.
Yes, for sure is my favorite lense, I love how they produce pictures, this is my favorite length, but I hate how big it is ;( This size make me to stay at home for mostly of time , just to heavy and big to carry this all the time. This is strange relationship, love and hate. I wish this could be smaller, I try last Tamron 70-180 but compromise what this lense give me I can't accept, from this lense picture need to be clean .
I have a 70mm-200mm f2.8 lens. I love it. This video reminds me that I should use it even more.
Just got one today, had one before- LEGENDARY
Same but yesterday, in many years ive never used more thank 105mm
3 lenses I can't live without as a wedding photographer, 24mm 1.4 gm, 85mm fe 1.8, 70-200 2.8 gm oss

Same combo as me
Just got the RF Canon 70-200 F4 L IS USM and love the size and weight of it. I’m mostly outdoor and landscape, so for me, it works fantastic.

I love the f4 as tele len usually used outdoor, with tripod f/4 and without VR do not matter. It is much more easy to carry around than the 2.8
My Fuji 70-200mm lens is my go to lens!
I love my Canon 70-200 2.8 L III !!
Definitely my favourite Len’s. Just such a heavy thing to travel with. Lots of my best images were taken with this 2.8 Len’s
I love my Tamron 70-200mm G2...
Better than my previous Canon 70-200 f/2.8 L IS USM ll ……
I have the Tamron G1. Brilliant lens and I agree with this video.
that is a lens i use most of the time, except for more cramped spaces where something shorter is necessary.
very versatile otherwise.
That's my favourite lens in my bag

Om Systems OM 1 with 40-150 F2.8 pro - = 80-300 incredibly sharp and fast focus including close focus. Easily hand holdable.
I would like to know if the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS III USM works well on the a7iv? Specifically for photography more than anything?
reading amateur photographer mag (better portraits this week) good for most genres not sure about video Very useful lens Thanks park Cameras.

100% love my 70-200 2.8 and it’s ability to capture a wide variety of subjects. It’s blisteringly quick especially on my Z9 and wow is it versatile 😍
Is that the Z version? Wish it wasn’t so expensive
My best lens is the Sigma 70-200 the only down side is it’s heavy
Enjoyable 👍

There's a lot of possibilities related to a 70-200mm f2.8 lens. Me being able to afford it isn't one of them... :')
Just got one from ebay for 1500€ (rf70-200 2.8)
