Wow. I worked in Frontierland part time on weekends from 1999-2007, and spent many a shift at CBJ. Thought I knew all there was to know about the show but you added a lot more. I especially loved the Christmas Special and was very sad to learn that they stopped converting the show during the Holidays. Keep those facts coming!
I'm glad you learned more about the CBJ! There's so much great history in that show! I also loved the Christmas special. I thought I'd never see it again but I was in Japan in 2018 and they had it! I was so excited! Didn't matter a lot of it was in Japanese! I hope to bring you more Country Bear videos in the future!
Fascinating! So glad I found your channel! By coincidence, Pete was a regular customer at a business I worked at in Burbank for many years. I recognized his name when he was paying for something, and we started talking. He was such a nice guy. Didn't seemed annoyed at all to have a fan asking him "nerdy' questions. Thanks for the great video!
It looks like I never replied to your comment - but I really thought I did. That's so cool you recognized Pete by name and got to talk with him. He's such a really great, and humble man, as you discovered! I'm working on another video about him and he told me just yesterday he's the voice on the Mark Twain that does the calls, "By the mark, mark 1, mark Twain, half twain..." I had no idea that was him. So much fun to learn.
I knew of the blooper, but I didn't know that they didn't re-record it and had to edit it! I'm glad you also enjoyed hearing it! It's fun to share these stories!
