Dear Beau, I like very much your through instruction but what I'm looking for is instruction on building website using Gutenberg builder. I purchased MotoPress theme (it's old from 2018) and I got stacked on it home page. On top I did not do correct set up which call for clean WordPress. I'm missing contact/location page and do not know how to make it. Please let me know
Hey from Australia. Unfortunately we have to pay for all plugins unless we're on a business plan. I'm on a premium plan in order to link this to my godaddy hosting site. Apparently that doesn't cut it!
I can't begin to tell you how valuable this video is for novice Web developers (do it yourselfers). Due to the length I'm sure a lot was put into making it. Very much appreciated!
I'm new to WP, and you made my week! I started my site and then I found your video. I went from INSANE to sanity by following along with the video. Thanks Much!!!

Great tutorial. I learned Wordpress a while ago, then switched to code based design, now I'm revisiting it. This was a really helpful refresher. Wordpress feels kind of awkward to me, but this tutorial makes it easier to get used to. Much different than coding, but kind of more fun imo. Not as much control, but you can get a cool site faster and learn a lot just by playing around with the interface.
Can I make these steps direclty on wordpress or should I do? Because in my country it's cheaper and I wanted to use it for my school project for 3-4 months. If you want you can give me suggestions about it.
@@sudhara4073 In my opinion, if you don't have any experience with web design/coding, learning Wordpress and using a high quality theme would probably be the easiest way to get a pro looking site fast. The Wordpress framework/theme can do much of the functionality and creativity for you, you just add and adjust contents. With code you have to do every detail of the function and style manually, and it takes a lot of time/practice.
Man his hair have gone grey now. I've been watching your tutorial since the first year of college, it's been 4 years. Thank you very much for your works
@@uuach731 nah i just learned through a diff video that even people who know how to make websites through all the js/html/css stuff use wordpress to make websites to save time during freelancing , and when you said youve been watching freecodecamp for 4 years i realized you were one of those people too , i personally am going to start freelancing from next month when i start my cs bachelors and i thought id firt have to learn all the tedious stuff like node.js , js , html , css , react and stuff before i can make good websites to earn a sidebuck , but wordpress is a huge revelation , ill learn wordpress for now to do freelancing so that it takes less time and i can continue further with my main studies
Wow, this tutorial is an absolute gem for aspiring web developers and DIY enthusiasts! Beau Carnes's clear communication skills, combined with his excellent sense of humor, make the entire video a delightful experience from start to finish. The captivating visuals and high production value further enhance the learning journey. It's evident that a lot of effort went into creating this complete and detailed tutorial for WordPress beginners. I truly appreciate the valuable insights and knowledge shared here. Kudos to the beau and freecodecamp for their excellent teaching approach and for contributing such helpful content to the community. Thanks again for making such an incredible video!
