    best method is to get a large bucket your fermenter can fit in and put water in it 3/4 of the way up the wort. throw in frozen water bottles in extreme heat. this uses no energy like a fan

    Oh my god thank you for this video. Its very hard for me to get temps right in my apartment so i am constantly modifying recipes for yeast strains that have higher heat tolerances. On average how many degrees can you take off with a swamp cooler?

    One of the few advantages to living in Britain is that the mild climate is usually good for at some some form of beer all year round.
    A method I might try to dampen variation in temp is just placing the fermenter in a garden humper with water.

    didn't knew we can use an old freezer to store yeast starter, yeast pack and primary carboy.....
